I think one thing that would be awesome is varied physical damage like such as Slash, thrust, blunt etc. which would actually differentiate the weapon types beyond swing speed and more damage vs less damage. Same goes for armor, make some armor have some inherent arrow, slash, blunt, magic or whatever resistance. That way equipment materials actually have their own unique qualities and it's not just simply armor rating

TES6 will almost definitely not meet expectations, i think it'll be a buggy mess with not the greatest visuals, but i do believe TES6 will do great aslong as Bethesda creates a good main story, factions and dont f*** up any lore. buggs will be patched and visuals will me fixed by modders or BGS

I think starfield was set after the war to leave some interesting plot room for possibly a starfield online game, where they always make their online game before before all the single player games. Skipping the war gives the online game space.

People are missing out if the only look forward to TES: 6. By the time TES: 6 is relesed big mods like Skyblivion will come out and other will follow. Even if TES: 6 is bad mods will make it great. Bethesda will not fail since it has great comunity and a true famdom.

Mage college must be done like Monastery in Risen. When you sign up your only world is college where you live and learn spells and magic.

I'm not much of a modding guy I just play the game as is. Like for me if it's a game like American truck simulator where they had to change the company names in corporate names because of the reasons and they made mods to change it. I can support something like that or if you want to make it to where the gas prices or any pricing is based in reality okay but when you change it too much to where it doesn't look like the actual game anymore I just I can't support it. But we also have to look at the legality of everything cuz you can be in trouble with certain mods depending on the game.

If people are expecting ES6 to be like Skyrim then they’ll be very disappointed. It’s very difficult to be better than your best ever game as that game is the benchmark for success. So if ES6 is not well received Bethesda is finished.

ED6 needs to be much more advanced with a much higher skill ceiling than ES5 has.

For me, Starfield was the measuring stick by which to determine whether Bethesda is even capable of making TES6. That game came miles short of any kind of redemption. If this is what they did with Todd's passion project, then TES6 has no hope whatsoever. Bethesda is dead, and nothing will ever fix it. When TES6 comes out, it will be a disaster, or worse, a boring, nothing experience not even worth commenting on. RIP Elder Scrolls. You were a masterpiece of an IP.

I want a very polished game with very few bugs. A large variety of weapons, armor, spells, etc. No essential NPCs. Let players bork their save like in Morrowind by killing an important NPC. No leveled loot! I hate having to put off a quest for several levels because I want the objectively best version of a reward. Modular weapon and armor customization. Basically the Fallout 4 upgrade system. I don't wanna stack a bunch of Fortify Smithing potions and upgrade my gear to near OP levels. It doesn't feel like I truly upgraded my gear, just made a number go up through magic. Most importantly, I want the game to be super immersive. I wanna feel like I'm really in the world and the choices I make matter.

I would actually love if they took the ability from oblivion to use a healing spell even if you’re using a two handed or a shield, in that way, I think Oblivion’s combat is better than Skyrim’s. They don’t even have to expand past healing spells (though I would love if they did more, excluding offensive spells), but even just giving the player the ability to use a heal spell without having to un-equip your greatsword or whatever’s in your left hand. It feels more immersive, and it allows for more builds (such as a Paladin Enforcer), and also would make players more inclined to level up the restoration skill tree even when they are playing with dual maces (or whatever weapons they are using).

The answer is no. They cant. Their writers suck and they are using the same old engine AGAIN. The bugs arent funny anymore and its gonna be a mess im sure. I fully expect it to just look like a slightly better skyrim with a slightly different map and even worse writing. And Skyrims writing wasnt all that great to begin with. Most dialogue is boring as hell, most stories dont make sense, the only reason its as popular as it is is because of the mod scene. Mods make skyrim great. Base skyrim is kinda bad. But at least the exploration loop is good and you get those occasional moments that jist make it great. But bethesda needs a complete overhaul.

Bethesda's LIFE rests on TES6's success and that's a fact what they REALLY need to do is: 1- Drop the DEI guy(s) immediately, those...things... are like Satan's little helpers. 2- Drop Emil, the guy is just a bad writer, hire SKILLED writers who can weave a proper narrative with quest choices and interesting character dialog and in-game decisions that encourage multiple play-throughs, and for the love of GOD give us skill dialog checks, I want to ROLE PLAY. 3- Create a proper stealth system like in the Thief games, like real PROPER stealth, with proper sound design. 4- Bring back the magic spell creation system and expand on it, give us amazing spells, let us summon skeletons and open portals and affect the environment, for example: ice magic that creates ice puddles where it lands and makes enemies stagger or slip, shock spells do double damage to wet targets, telekinesis actually is viable and you can use it to hurrle urns and rocks at enemies and even push or pull them...etc etc. 5- Make alchemy viable as an offensive option as well, with bombs, oils, and elixirs, not just potions. 6- Do not make us the center of the game universe unless we reach the end game and we want to engage in the main plot. 7- Make enchanting fun, let us create scrolls and charge rings and staffs and gloves/gauntlets with projectile spells and effects, maybe boots that make us walk on water when we activate them, or cloaks that give us extra warmth, or hoods/helmets that give us night vision, just be creative, and for all that is holy put a balance system on it, reaching level 100 in enchanting does not mean I can create a -100% magicka cost reduction on my spells, ever heard of spell effect caps??? 8- Again I repeat, make choices matter, joining the DB WILL get you kicked from the thieves guild for example, having low skill points in magic skills will BLOCK your advancement in the mages guild, and so on and so forth... the player should NOT be able to finish all the quests and join all the factions in one play through.

You know everyone absolutely shitting on Bethesda (which is absolutely deserved) I truly hope the people in the company now are actually working hard and realizing how crucial it will be for them to do something positive with this. Take the critism and work with it. Plz Bethesda, I want ES6 🥲 and I want to be able to enjoy it!

Saints row 2 is 10x better than Saints row 4. Saints row as whole took a nose dive once it stepped away from the gangster area some franchises shouldn't go passed 2-3 games.

"Pls don't put 1M micro-transactions..." WTF don't put ANY micro-transactions in my game!!! I hope BGS is engaging with community stakeholders ahead of release (like they did with later Skyrim updates, with SKSE team) and talking roadmap. They can't deliver everything to make everyone happy on initial release, but they CAN leverage the modding community to pick up the slack. In their past products, they had incredible storylines, solid base platforms, and they gave the community tools to improve on them. I'm still enjoying Skyrim, finding new quest mods, assets, animations, ENB tweaks all the time.

I think Starfield was a step in the right direction when it comes to RP and choice. Still not to the level of Morrowind, but it was getting there. More choice. More dialogue options. My only real issue with Starfield was how broken up the universe was. It wasn’t the connected, open world I enjoyed from the ES titles. If they take their direction from Starfield, plus giving us back some RP and gameplay options and magic systems from the days of Morrowind, maybe even the loot rarity from Morrowind, and give us a giant seamless beautiful and somewhat alien ES world to contain all of that, I think I’ll be happy.

There done if they fail with the new tech and games coming sadly. All they have too do is stop micro transaction, get a new engine, makes the games more live like will more npc in cities like kids playing and trying too steal from you pick pocket you. Try too rob you or minipulate you. Theres gotta be more filler in open space, caravans always traveling. Bethesday know there doomed if this fails they will make it work for most people im sure. I never found these games glitches that bad tbh. Just amp up the graphics and throw some well deserved dollars and care into it. Keep it offline and make dedra and dark magic more a part like some goth redguards and shit. Have intimate scenes and finally a scooma high. Lets make this game for the adult true fans that been around. Nudity and crazy wild quests about debochery. Also new animals too fight like a mega troll or new bandit types like cannibals. Would love too see how big they push there cities in scale. Skyrim cities where really small and underwheling i wanna be over the edge with people and things going on at the markets and keep all the great trading and level up stuff. Maybe add slave traders like fallout in some nasty dark mining cave or fields guarded by archers you can take out. Ill enjoy this game it just has too be released this had been a long time starfield should have been made after this with ai and vr obviusly they should have really pushed that game with future tech lmao

At the very least, I am 99.9% sure that TES VI _will_ be better than Starfield, if only marginally so. There won't be hundreds of procedurally generated planets with nothing on them. No constant animations of getting in and out of your ship or docking and undocking with space stations. And most importantly, no half-baked universe with bland aesthetics, boring weapons & armor, uninteresting characters, and a non-sensical story where we missed all the good stuff, all without a single design document to guide its creation. All this is to say that TES is a well-established universe that Bethesda should be intimately familiar with. Will that be enough to save them? Time will tell. The fact that they're _still_ using The Creation Engine is worrying. Slapping a 2 on the end won't magically fix all the issues with the first iteration of the engine, as Starfield has taught us. I will say this: If TES VI flops, just cancel Fallout 5. Or hand it to another studio. Then shutter Bethesda Game Studios.

I have found that a lot of older people(me 78) play this game. I think that all the true gamers out there playing Skyrim want to stick to the traditional gaming scheme with some pleasant addons. Personally I would like a throwing objects capability in the game.
