Incorrect , mis led information . So number 1 … glucose does not turn into fructose . Excessive glucose in the blood drives an insulin response that stores glucose in our tissue cells driving weight gain , once the glycogen stores in our liver are full the excess floats around in our blood as fat lipids called triglycerides . Number 2 Fruit is safe to eat as the fibre content in fruit slows the absorption of the fructose .. it’s only if you juice the fruit it becomes a problem .. do your research before scare mongering .

It’s important though to get Raw Spirulina unprocessed so that you can utilize all the benefits of the SOD and glutathione process. Spirulina doesn’t work unless it’s from a reputable source as well. “Raw living“ is the best company I’ve found for the most pure potent spirit in the world. The mitochondria are prokaryotes living inside all eukaryote cells in symbiosis, except the red blood cells. Mitochondria are very similar to the Rickettsia bacterium, has a cell membrane and is reproductive. Mitochondria are much more abundant in your body than your own cells, not just Mitochondria but all microbiomes in your body are primarily procaryotes living in symbiosis, meaning they are dependent on what you feed them. If you don’t feed them, or you kill them all, you die.

I don’t think such tests are even available here in Germany, they do these test only for pregnancy. And even if I do find a lab, how should I know what to request? I won’t do it just to see bdnf. And the next problem, who will look at the results and interpret them? I don’t think it’s available for even middle class people 😢

There are many genetic testing options available in the market, but many are not very clinically relevant or informative. It is good to understand what you want and then make sure you engage with a company that can meet your health goals. At iDNA Health we can report on just for BDNF or more extensively across your health. We can post our kit overseas and do offer online consults. If you want more information this is our website www.idnahealth.com.au/

There are quite a few doctors and academics out there who argue (convincingly) that its not just vegans and vegetarians who may lack B12, VitD, and Omega-3 fatty acids. The chronically low levels of these substances have given rise to an increase in depression, early on-set dementia, and weakened immune systems in many countries. All these substances are cheap to produce and have no commercial value to big food- and big pharma-companies, hence there is no marketing or awareness to the general public. Government nutrition-guidelines are also hopelessly low on the levels people should ingest, on a daily/weakly basis, and are about 30 years out-of-date with modern scientific research. Its great that you are highlightling these to vegans and vegetarians...but everyone is at risk. Everyone.

More scaremongering over high doses is THE PROBLEM! Traditional Maasai, living in our species evolutionary Tropical African region, maintain ~50ng/ml from conception to death, with pregnant/lactating mothers raising LEVELS even higher! Most of the world suffers insufficient to deficient levels leaving us at risk of endless conditions. It is not “sun” it is specifically the very short “UVB” rays, which black out from longer distances through our atmosphere in Temperate+ winters.

There are very specific interventions for each step and it is just too much to simply list in this reply. In clinic we go through these in detail with our patients, but the interventions are across diet, lifestyle and key supplementation. I will certainly consider doing a future episode about other fat soluble vitamins. Thanks for listening

Nice presentation - thanks. Compound heterozygous here. My health collapsed when I turned 49. 3 years on no one was able to help solve the mystery/mysteries. I took genetic investigation into my own hands. Discovered my MTHFR challenges. Treating myself with what I've learnt from a protocol from Chris Masterjohn PHD, and Ben Lynch (Dirty Genes) via UA-cam. Feeling much better - a bit of a go to way though. All functional medicine, targeted supplements, food choices, exercise/movement - no prescription/big pharma. People are saying "I have MTHFR". We all have "MTHFR" (genes), its whether you have MTHFR variance, it's degree of effect on compromised enzyme production on the methylation pathway, and its level of impact on your health.
