Welcome to my Channel!
My channel is primarily based on planespotting, train videos and whenever I can afford it, a trip report. However, this channel will primarily be based on planespotting.
My planespotting videos will be based at Sydney Kingsford Smith International Airport (YSSY) however there may be the odd spotting video from somewhere like Newcastle Williamtown or Canberra depending on where I travel.

Repatriation flights at Sydney Airport

The outbreak of COVID-19 has brought some airlines that wouldn't normally see in in Sydney (apart from Qatar Airways). These flights were operating to repatriate citizens. In this video you will see Qatar Airways which is helping to bring home Australian citizens from the Middle East and Europe, Austrian Airlines which was rescuing both Austrian and German citizens, Condor which was rescuing German citizens, Edelweiss rescuing Swiss citizens, United which I believe was both a cargo flight and rescuing American citizens and KLM rescuing Dutch citizens. Although this situation has bought out some cool airlines which are awesome to see in Sydney, it is all for the wrong reasons.

Luis P Nathan K5UL-AU-LS. A Nathan 5 chime air horn created by Nathan but fitter to UGL’S C44aci’s and C44acHi’s. They also added them to GL’S and CM’s I believe. But I’m not sure on those two.

Australia used to have Swiss, Alitalia, Lufthansa even Austrian. Buy seems nowadays people have to do stop overs or change planes. I rather go on a direct flight. Thanks to the Airbus A350 Australia's Qantas can now fly all the way to Frankfurt, Rome, Madrid, London and New York non stop. (There's a few other routes but I can't remember. All this in addition to Qantas's usual flight routes). I follow Sam Chui and he explains everything. He even tried Qantas flight from New York to Sydney non stop flight (I think, or was it London? You're gonna have to search it up of you want to watch: Sam Chui Qantas longest flight)
Manage to saw the airplane from my home window in Penang since they transit here on the way back to Vienna :))) so happy to see European Airlines in Penang >_< .. Do you know how many times they will be doing this flight thingy? since I already know 2 times .. the other day departing from penang to vienna .. today arriving from sydney ..
I believe Austrian is only doing 1 repatriation flight to Sydney. LOT Polish Airlines flown in twice to pick up Polish tourists however both have come in at inconvenient times so I haven't been able to get either. But I have my hopes that there will be more repatriation flights into Sydney

5:42 Nathan K5UL-AU-LS. The CTrail (Connecticut Rail) has these horns on all of their GP40-2H/3H’s. I love them
