10hrs of Moab Madness | Poison Spider, Golden Spike, & Gold Bar Rim
Переглядів 1,1 тис.Місяць тому
Our final day in Moab was supposed to be a ‘chill day’ so we packed light and got a late start on the trail. We opted for Poison Spider trail since it was high on our list and we wanted to see what all of the hype was about. Like the other trails we had seen, it was amazing. A super cool blend of rocks, slickrock, sand, and everything in between. After cruising up to the Mesa and spending a few...

Moab Rim, Moab Utah 📍 On the 3rd day of our 2024 trip to Moab we decided to check out ‘Moab Rim’ trail. The night before we found the trail on UA-cam and watched a few videos about it. Of course, one of the first things we see is a brand new SXS rolling on one of the trail's name-worthy obstacles, the “Z-Turn.” Very reassuring. The trail begins just outside of town and right along the Colorado ...

Hell’s Revenge, Moab Utah 📍 This has got to be one of the most famous off-road trails in the world, for sure in Moab? I don't know, but in our books it was crazy epic. We were all the most excited to check out Hell’s Revenge when were first planning our trip to Moab so this was a big day for all of us. First impression? The tire grip on the slickrock of Moab is crazyyy good - unlink anything we...

Reincarnated: A Suzuki Samurai Story | Part 1

Part 2 coming early 2025. A true story about a few dudes and the little car that could! Back in 2015 we took this Samurai out with the intent of making a 'cool video' of it bashing thru the local desert. While headed to the gas station, a friend of the owner got a little too sideways, caught edge, and ultimately took the Samurai for a little tumble. With all hope nearly lost, the Suzuki Samurai...
3 Link Suzuki Samurai Builds Off-Roading
Переглядів 1,9 тис.5 місяців тому
From the archive! 10 years ago we were having just as much fun with Suzuki Samurais as we do today. These two cars were built by my brother and his friend, both of which featured custom three link suspension set ups in the front, rear YJ spring under axle set ups in the rear, and some mild tube work to hold everything together. Unfortunately, this spot has been shut down in recent years, but it...

Suzuki Samurai Carpet Kit, Is It Worth It?
where’s this trail🙏
Rip John Gates
I had that 1.6 liter in a Sidekick and it was a terrible engine. I'll stick to the stock Samurai engine.
how did you mount your front axle mudflaps on the samurai?
I have brackets there that attach the mudlfap to the body of the vehicle. They came that way on Samurais stock (maybe all of them or maybe it was a factory option?). If you DM me on Instagram I can send you some more specific photos.
@@samuraiszn that would be nice yea
There's a Brite Orange Samari that goes by couple times a day. I can hear it coming and it sounds like it's doing a Hundred, as it goes by at 50. Now I know why, my motorcycle has about the same HP.😂
I was looking for a review for this header and I found your video which I usually found them usefully. Order just placed
Awesome! Glad I was able to help, hope you got to use the 15% off coupon!
I forgot to apply the discount. Do you have a contact with them so they can apply it retrospectively?
They are amazing as they refunded the promo value back to me
You are the greatest the whole USA ! stings like a butterfly floats like a bee .
is that header CARB legal?
it does not have a CARB stamp of approval so it would not be 'public road legal' in the state of California
smog legal?
it does not have a CARB stamp of approval so it would not be 'public road legal' in the state of California
Good times… u gotta come bk soon 🤙🏾🤙🏾
Sounds killahz
Isn't this a g13b?
both of these are G13A, small differences from the G13B but very close to being the same
You will most likely start smelling exhaust with it dumping straight out the back. Best remedy is to point it to the side like factory.
For real. for some reason all the aftermarket exhausts for jimnys are like that and it gets sucked into the cab depending on your cab set up it can really bad or not so bad
thanks for bringing that up, that is a great point. I have driven like this for a couple hundred miles now with no exhaust odor the way it is situated. I have dealt with that in the past on my soft top but so far I have no issues with the tin top. Maybe the new-ish catalytic convertor is helping me out or the tin top is better sealed and keeping out the stank.
Oceanside harbor for the win!
It does sound fantastic, I wonder if it helps with horse power?
I would definitely like to think it does, but to be honest the change is probably minimal
Minimal with 1.3 make a different 😂
Sounds great! I wonder how it would sound with the resonator removed?
Maybe that should be the next exhaust experiment!
Is it legal to remove it?
In snow you want the shiniest tire you can have so air up
Waiting for the merch 😎
we are working on it, thanks for the support!!
Sir Engine 1.5. & 1.8 cc ..
All kines of fun!!!! 🤙🏾🤙🏾
Always love to see more vids from you guys, and this is probably the most hype one yet :P On a side note, would love to know what leafs the guy with the white hardtop was running, they look absolutely huge
Thanks for checking it out! This was a very long day on the trail but man was it worth it. The grey/white Samurai in this video is running Trail Tough's EPIK Trek SPUA kit which uses their 'Bonz-Eye' leaf springs. Basically, a rear samurai leaf spring up front, YJ leafs in the back. We actually did a whole video on the install of that kit a while back, you can find it on our channel 👍🏼
@@samuraiszn im sure, that looks like it was a very memorable day :) Yah, ill have to check it out, as a new sammy owner, im looking in to ways of getting better articulation/comfort and jeep leafs are probably at the top of my list atm.
They are not top heavy that was a myth created by jeep...There is a documentary about this how the American 4x4 market and jurno's created a lie about the samurai'a because they were out selling jeep...
that documentary is definitely a good watch!
I used to have a 1990 ZUK and I screwed up up so bad IMO ....Yes, it was on the magazine cover twice and saw many trips to Moab but the spring over and the shackle reversal is what I wish I never did knowing what I know now about axle wrap . Keep it shackle in the front and keep it spring under 👍 You don't have much wheel travel in either end and that is probably the stiff leafpacks. That's a tough one to overcome. ZUK
Epic mate!
Another banger! Any plans on wheeling in Vegas some time? If you're looking to add another Samurai to the trails I'd love to tag along.
@@bowen11 thanks for checking it out! Absolutely, shoot me a message on instagram @samurai.szn, let’s link up!
Great video, well done editing and music...and that sexy 4runner too!
thank you kind sir!
Alright, what’s is cost to ship a Sammy to Maui!
right!? A few years ago it was around $1,000 to ship a vehicle to the islands from the West Coast, it's probably a little more at this point
Greating from France, your vidéo are amazing, i m a samurai entusiast since more than 2 years when i start to restore mine. Long live to szn community and tanks for your work!
thank you for the kind words and for watching!

This video reminds me that I need to build a roll cage in my samurai 🤣
hah! yeahhhhhh I was very focused on keeping things right side up with out a cage
I love watching this kind of content! Keep up the great videos.
thank you for your kindness Mr. Hayabusa 🙌🏻

Where can I get spare parts for Suzuki samurai
Are you in USA or somewhere else in the world? I use EBay, and a number of other sites to find the parts I am looking for. If you have more questions feel free to send me a message on instagram @samurai.szn
Supah fun looking…
Great content, thanks!
Yeah that was a little sketchy huh!? I love the new video filming/editing style dude. Makes me want to get out more and play. 🤘😎
You should!
That was awesome! can't wait for Moab 2025
Us too!
Makes me want to get the Epic Trek SPOA lift.
Im sure the apring over with better tiers would work way better for wheeling. Same ride though I hear.
Thanks for checking out the video. If you watch our video with Daylan from Maui, you can see the SPOA variation in action! Spring Under was exactly what I wanted for this vehicle but the Spring Over looks legit as well
Love this
What roof rack is that? Nice Sami
Daylan is running the Yakima racks with the road warrior cargo basket w the middle extension to make basket longer - all of which is from Yakima's website 👍
Love the build! Great video dude🤙🏻
thanks for watching! Looking forward to linking up at some point in the future!
@@samuraiszn hell yeah for sure we need to make that happen! Are you going to be at trail hero?
Holy cow that freaked out my mind lol
hello bro, have you grown tired of the g16b? if you had the chance, would you skip this and maybe get a more powerful unit or would you do the same again? I'm looking to swap and get a 16v or a m13a or a k20 but I am not sure on what to do
What up! I have not grown tired of it and I would do it again but it really just depends what you are after... The G16B feels like the motor that should have came in these cars, it is a fairly straight forward swap, and it allows you to stay up with traffic a lot better but it really isn't fast. I would call it OEM +, a nice factory style upgrade but still feels and drives like a suzuki and you still retain alot of your original parts. If you want to go fast, do burnouts and rip, go with a K20 or something with a little more than a G16B. I am sure it would feel like a different car if you did and if that is what you are after. There are other swaps and hybrid-style modifications you can do with suzuki stuff, but it all gets a little tricky. If you have more questions feel free to message me on Instagram @samurai.szn
@@samuraisznthanks friend! That's exactly the answer I was looking for, followed on ig too btw, will PM if further questions rise, thanks again
I’ve got an 87 samurai on 35s Toyota axles 2.3L. I want to go in 2025 👍👍 if yall can set it up before Zukicon I can do the 2 birds one stone thing being I’m coming from Mississippi. Bucket list stuff
Let’s do it! Send me a message on Instagram if you’re on there and let’s set something up for sure
Same, less likely to tip. I'm out in the pacific northwest, so we have our own crazy terrain.
Missing a lug nut on that back wheel.
they give you a 5 lug so that if you loose 1 or 2 you still have a few spares 😅
