Where would you recommend to do a color change if I want each row of shells to be a different color? Should I do the frame chain rows in the color of the shells underneath or do the frame chains in the color of the shells above?

I crochet toys for sick children in the pediatric oncology dept., of my local hospital. I purchased your tiger pattern and I'm just about to attach the legs. So thank you for this. Because the toys are for very sick kids I do not use safety eyes but embroider them. I have not followed your pattern in one respect only. I will only do all the embroidery once I have finished the toy. I find your instruction videos far abd away the best and easiest to follow.
