I truly desire to pray in the Spirit. I want to be a true Worshipper. And of course, I have petitions of Him which are important to me. Since I know He loves me and those I am praying about, I want my will to coincide with His in my petitions and understand the answer He sends. ♥️♥️♥️

Nice and dandy, but the prayer in which you struggle with distractions and dryness is specially valuable to God. See the dairy of Saint Faustina where Jesus himself confirms that. Persist in prayer in the dessert and in consolations with equal zeal. Teresa Ahumada (Saint Teresa of Avila) said that she never started prayers without first warming up by reading pious books that would elevate her spirit and help to pray with enthusiasm. Remember that we are spirit and biological entities that are regulated by hormones all sort of biological factors. Do not worry just keep on praying with the intention of loving Him. Baruch Hashem

This was amazing, it inspires hope and faith to come before God and make our requests known, to worship His loving kindness towards us, and to request His will consumes our lives. I have struggled for years with prayer.

this is a mixture of Lewis's words with someone elses. CS Lewis died in 1963. He would never have referred to someone as being "on their phone" (minute 4:29)

Are these actually writings of CS Lewis? He died in 1963 prior to smart phones, these little things I constantly hear through makes me wonder. I wouldn't listen to it if I thought someone was adding to his thoughts though with good intentions.

Please pray for me. I'm 75 years old and have serious health issues. I have tried to live a good life but I can't seem to accept spirituality. I've done a lot of good deeds for others but I can't forgive myself for some of the bad things i have done. I don't have much longer in this world and I don't want to die without certainty that God has forgiven me. Thank you for your help and your prayers.

What no one really talks about is that you need to begin by worshiping put on some good gospel music or something like Kim Walker Smith, and let the spirit minister to you through the music then you’ll feel humbled and you’ll feel his presence as you start worshiping and start praising him invite the Holy Spirit and and he will hear any prayer you have

This was not at all helpful! First, it didn’t back up the statements from scripture. Second, it basically condemned all of us for the universal problem of having distractions from the enemy who wants to sabotage our relationship with the Father. Third, it kept referring to praying in the Spirit, which different Christian groups define in different ways. And finally, it never did offer any wise counsel on what to do before praying in order to solve the problem, as advertised in the title! Doesn’t that make it click bait?

l don't think it right this lecture on praying, because this lecture on prayer, makes it seem, your not being listen too, due to our human weaknesses and the distractions, we have.God knows this. He searches the heart.So stop with the guilt trip. To many times, my prayers were answered. I was at s lost, for words. fearful and anxious. Yet like s child cry to there mom or dad, I cried out to Jesus, immediately He delivered me from dangerous situations. some precarious situations. So I say don't stop praying. ❤He loves us all . Dont bother to pray if you are practicing any kind of sin, God will not hear you. Isaiah 59:2, 1 Peter 3:12, Matt 5:23-24. If CS Lewis would have used Scripture to back his teaching on prayer then i would agree with him. Number one hindrance for our prayers to be heard by God and answered is sin or sins in our lives we are not willing to let go and repent from them, turn our back on them and none of us can do it in the power of our flesh. Not by might nor by power, But by My Spirit says the LORD Zechariah 4:6. It is by the power of the Holly Spirit who lives in us as we submit to Him and walk in His word of truth which the Holly Spirit uses to deliver us from temptation to sin. Psalms 119:11 says, I have stored up your word in my heart, that i might not sin against you. Let's store God's word in our hearts daily so that we will not fall into sin so easily. Sin will easily beset us if we are not sober minded about the word of God. Before we come to God and start praying, we should always make sure that there is no known sin in our lives that is not coffeesd to God knowing that He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9. If we are praying in the flesh it is because we are not dealing with our sin or sins.

Sad, sad, sad... Hinduism, Christianity, zeus, and Thor, all fairytale. Christianity needs apologetics to get by the contradictions. The bible says all things will be given to those who ask in the name of jesus. Ask Jesus to cure the children with cancer at your local hospital on Saturday at noon. It will never happen no matter how hard and devoutly anyone prays. Maybe Jesus is too busy to tend to the children.... 🙏

How do I pray in the Spirit

I'm struggling with praying in the Spirit and doesn't even know how to listen and know the Holy Spirit I need urgent prayers in this Area of my life
