Cranky old mechanic of thirty-five years whose outlet is building stuff. Everything from metal fabrication, hot rods, motorcycle customization, automotive how to videos, to wood working, paint & bodywork, CNC , 3-D printing and yard art. Will be doing some house renovation and furniture re-purposing to make the wife happy. She'll probably have me landscaping also.

Restoring an old mill vise.

I had to rescue an expensive mill vise my friend was using on his drill press so I had to give him one to replace it with, special thanks to my friend Paul for trading me vises even though he didn't want to :) he traded anyway knowing he can have me make him parts for his hot rods and toys whenever he needs to.

Little screamers!
Runs perfect now
Man I really enjoyed that, brings back so many good memories, i had a yz80s and a yz80t, the 80’s dirtbikes were my best times, even though ive owned 125’s,250’s and 500’s but being a kid on an 80 was simply the best. Im 52 now and I don’t ride anymore but after watching this video id love to restore one to have in my lounge room. Great job mate 👌
@falconx5744 thank you so much!

My cuz had `a `1989 yz80 I had a1986 kaw kx 80 power band liquid cool we raced and he smoked me like a pack of kools you had to sit pñ the gas tank to hold it down
Waiting to see the 68
Love that two stroke whine. My Dad had a Suzuki GT 750. Four cylinder two stroke water cooled.
I had a YZ 80. Which seized. Then a KZ125. Followed by a KD250 trials bike.
Frame off, nothing like bringing an old 2 stroke back to life. Beautiful bike, kick ass lil machines way ahead of their time
Awesome job now it’s ready to take down any old man who rides it 😂.
First time seeing a entire video of a motorbike restoration. Very cool to see and interesting! Support from France
This is why I love UA-cam, thanks for sharing this awesome series, I subscribed

De bon souvenirs 👌
Good stuff bubba. Kent sent me here.
I owned a 82 YZ80 as a 10 yo. What camera did you use for this video?
Sony ZV-E10
Friggin class💪
Made in USA ❤
I raced a 1985-model in my youth. My dad and I stripped it like you did and built it back with the best parts available. It was a rocketship, the guys on 1992 Suzukis ate my dust on the track even though they had a more linear powerband. The YZ was nothing, nothing and BOOM, everything. Great memories of both working with my dad and racing th YZ.
I’ve never seen a YZ 60 or a CR 60 in my area in England, plenty of KX 60s about
Not a lot here, getting hard to find, even harder to find parts
APLAUSOS !!!! yo tenía la Yamaha GT 80 mini trail
Nice vid but why paint the frame red?? Made the 87 look like an 86.
Cuz a 15 yo wanted red and i didn't care
