Why when they have talented individuals on these talk shows do they talk about everything except the talent? The first question should have been where did you learn how to sing like that! There is so much creative genius in the music.
I never noticed before, after these 40 odd years, that Boy George lisps. I noticed it in an interview he did recently with Rod Stewart and thought maybe it's because he got his teeth fixed, but no. Apparently he's always lisped. It's so easy to correct, youd think he'd have done it years ago, or his parents should have had it corrected. Love Boy George, and the interview, but the lisping bothers me. Sorry.
I'd day that Lady Gaga's past style was more similar to Dale Bozio's (Missing Persons). As as to George there was Little Richard, Bowie, Elton John,... before him all the way up to Lil' Nas X these days. Every generation imagines that they are the first.
His communicative abilities are amazing. He really LISTENED before he spoke and let her lead the conversation while simultaneously owning the room. Amazing.
Why did they laugh about packing fruit I hate when ppl make fun of regular jobs. Because no matter what we need someone for those mundane jobs. And every single job should be celebrated cause all jobs are contributing to society unless doing harm.
I remember partying in Georgetown DC in the 80's in my long Euro look trench coat and boots with bandana around my neck. Little did anyone know "the boy" was an inspiration to just be myself.
Thanks for the upload he is comparable with witchy poo in this stage of his career is a brilliant brilliant man and very intelligent and great artists I like him
So advanced for a 20 something… he knew that time was short he had to make a mark and a living as a creator, the rest of us were out getting drunk with no direction… George was a very clever and erudite person 😊
A talented , intelligent, well spoken man , Basically self educated , yet still underrated , Outclassed anybody who dared to engage him in a clash to match wits , A natural center stage act , at quite a young age , The amount of radio play he got in the early to mid eighties was one of the main reasons he and his band made it .They paraded in and weren't afraid and they stayed , all you can say is ,, Well played ..
I too find Boy George very attractive both back in the early days and still today.
Star of George
Pro jew
Omg i wasn't born in 1983, this footage is so old, but boy George is gorgeous.

I love how sweet and supportive Joan was of Boy George. She was a Republican in real life but was also very open-minded and progressive.
The true talent lies in the midst of street culture. 💙🎶
Zamanın cok ilerisinde bir insan ❤❤❤❤
Sadece giyim stili bile o zamanlar için çok çok süperdi
Just came across this...decade plus later...love it.
Is that Jerry Seinfeld in the beginning lol what a trip
*Joan met her match with George ... and graciously sidled up for the ride*
That was painful

Gosh, I was only 2 when this interview took place.
Sophie Turner (famous for playing Sansa in GOT) does resemble him!
George seems so fun to talk to and laugh with. And his voice is truly amazing.

Is that Seinfeld next to him?!
BOY GEORGE ICON❤

He's a very interesting person. Hard to believe he was only 22 here.
The maturity of his conversation is mind blowing. When I was that age I could barely make myself a sandwich (or get out of bed).

I love Joan Rivers. I would've married her.
❤❤❤
"do you prefer men or women? I'm just curious" "Oh both" "That's fabulous!" Brilliant!!!! 😁👏✨
I can hear her narrating Letter Man from the Electric Company.
Can you believe thia was only 20 years ago?
I still love him. He should write a memoir.
He did. It is called Take it Like a Man, released 1995. Read it, really good 👍
She was guest hosting on The Tonight Show (Johnny Carson). 💟

Pretty good interview. Some of her questions are obvious but haven’t heard anyone ask them.
