Usually when I buy OLED devices I buy them in black hardware because it matches better with the black level of the OLED when playing in darker environments.

i was born in the nineties and it was a hell of a time to be growing up. being witness to everything to come that is now a common thing. computers, games, internet. always been a music enthusiast and spent a lot of time with my walkman. then CD's came. then youtube, then streaming services. honestly, as unique of a experience as it was, i think that it probably fried my brains. so much progress in such a short time is hard to handle. anyway, I've been thinking I could get back into walkman and buying cassettes and I'm shocked at how pricy cassettes are today. easily the same price as a vinyl record. i'm not sure walkman is the right move. back in the nineties we would just pirate the hell out of the cassettes but i would like to do it properly this time. however, it seems to be financially unwise.

I carry my psp go with me everywhere man. Its the only psp model that supports bluetooth so i can connect my earbuds and the battery feels like it lasts longer than my psp 2000

He lied about so many things here. The PSVita itself was cheap, the memory cards were expenside, the PSvita 2000 has less wieght than the 1000, and that it a fact.

some psp games (like gta lcs and vcs) allow you to apply patch to support 2nd analog stick this would make ps vita more comfortable to play

When selling a psvita in a game store the pay double for the OLED psvita then the slim ...they paid me 110 for the slim and 200$ for the oled

Forgot to mention that the 2000 charge port is so much better than the 1000. Alot more reliable.

The 1000 is my favourite. The OLED screen is genuinely so gorgeous and feels like the best handheld for me personally!

For people still on the fence. One thing to consider for the 1000 is that even though it is an OLED screen, it's from 2012 and isn't as good of quality as modern OLED screens that you might be used to today. Honestly side by side it's very hard to tell the difference between the older OLED and the newer 2000's LCD screen. The look and feel of the 1000 also feels very premium but honestly the extra weight and glossy finish doesn't help with long sessions, it's much easier to use a lighter console with a grippier matte finish for extended periods of time in my opinion. Overall the 1000 feels more premium, and 2000 feels more practical, both are great systems.

idk why everyone says the launch price was the issue when both the 3ds and vita launched for $249 with the vita launching about 10 months later, the memory cards though....

I might dig out my old PSP 3000 to emulate some older consoles. One thing I didn't like about the PSP is the lack of ergonomics. Horribly uncomfortable.

The oled is nice, but apparently very prone to screen burn. Mine has a slight orange stain at the bottom of it. That’s only really noticeable when it turned off, but it’s still very annoying. So I ordered a 2000 because my OCD couldn’t take it anymore. 😅

4th reason th d PS Vita didn't do well, the price of the proprietary memory card. I recently bought both of them and jailbreak both. Each have over 70 games, and I got L2R2 and L3R3 triggers for both.
