12-Minute Tour of Harbor Freight Tools in Chicagoland: Unbeatable Prices & Quality Tools!
Переглядів 72Місяць тому
One of my favorite spots in the Chicagoland area for great deals on quality tools! Harbor Freight is an American privately held tool and equipment retailer, headquartered in Calabasas, California, with over 1,500 locations across 48 states. Founded in 1977 by Eric Smidt and his father, Allan Smidt, the company started as a small mail-order business dealing in liquidated and returned merchandise...
Saying Goodbye to Arby's: A Final Visit to the Niles, IL Location before it closes for good!!

Hey everyone, welcome back! Today, I'm at what could be the last Arby's in the Chicagoland area in Niles, IL. Sadly, Arby's has just declared bankruptcy and announced it will be closing stores in Illinois and other states. Arby's has always been one of my favorite fast food restaurants, so it's heartbreaking to hear this news. I wanted to record this moment of enjoying a sandwich before this st...

Real-Time Eating at Portillo's Chicagoland: The Heavenly Italian Beef Experience
Переглядів 1,4 тис.3 місяці тому
Welcome to Portillo's in Skokie on Skokie Blvd! Portillo's is renowned for its delicious food, but my absolute favorite is their Italian beef sandwich. I always get it with sweet and spicy peppers, and I love the bread dipped-it's simply amazing. The nostalgic decor adds to the inviting atmosphere of this place. This is the first time I'm filming myself eating Italian Beef in real-time :-) !! A...

Revisiting Walgreens 37 Years Later: My First Job at 17 - A Nostalgic Journey!

Back in the day, when I was just 17 and attending high school in Chicago, I landed my first job at this very Walgreens in Lincolnwood IL. It was a fun and memorable experience where I met a lot of other high schoolers from the area. It was the most fun I had and earning over $4 per hour seemed like I was on top of the world. There was even a girl I worked with who asked me to be her date at her...
OfficeMax is still surviving post COVID, but how? if the store is this empty?

Today I'm in Niles Il, about to walk into an OfficeMax I hadn't been inside the store for over 25 years! Just some brief history: OfficeMax, founded in 1988, was once the third-largest office supplies retailer in the United States. In 2013, it merged with Office Depot, transforming into a brand and subsidiary of Office Depot. This merger made it the largest U.S. office supplies chain, although ...

One must-visit spot is Pequod’s Pizza, famous for its deep-dish pizza and topping lists like Yelp’s 100 Best Pizzas in America and USA TODAY’s Best Pizza in Chicago. I will do another video specifically inside Pequod's Pizzeria, but for now, lets absorb the ambiance of Morton...
Kohl's store ambiance.. Neither here or there with ncertainty in the air

I'm back in Morton Grove, IL, with spring around the corner, although the temperatures are still a chilly 50 degrees in Chicagoland. My visit to Kohl's was solely to return Amazon items, given that Kohl's serves as a return center for Amazon orders. Interestingly, I've never made a purchase from Kohl's, which might hint at some challenges the retailer is facing. With inflation looming and consu...
BARGAINS at Ross for Less: 8 MIN POV AMBIANCE

Although I've never stepped foot in Ross Dress For Less stores, a brief glance through the aisles has convinced me of their potential for fantastic bargains. As for some background, Ross Stores, Inc., ...

I worked in this mall for a very short time in 2006 and it was such a nice mall to walk. This is such a nice atmosphere and ambiance and something l loved about malls. It's a shame that this is considered outdated. It will be remodeled into something with white walls and devoid of atmosphere.

I don't think I have ever been to this mall, yet the Tony & Bruno's restaurant at 22:25 is so familiar. I have dreamt of being there ordering food many times. I don't know if there's somewhere else that I've been that looks like that, very strange.

That Mall will never come back. Those new apartments they are building after knocking down some of the mall are to few and will be to expensive to have the disposal income to support it. Also they're apartments, so not that much room to fill up. People just buy online especially those future Renters. I Like the Dog barking, I walk my Dogs in Malls too. So few People usually can.make 2 or 3 laps before I get kicked out.. Lol

The people fending for themselves in an increasingly violent world while the elites , super wealthy enter into any form of debauchery they choose at the expense of the masses . JoAnn has the stupidest pricing methods. Overpriced stuff nobody will buy because the price isn't be reasonable without a coupon and who knows when that item will be marked down? If you need something right away, you overpay just to get it and you feel like a sucker. Plus they always act like trying to check out or get fabric cut is a huge ordeal for them.

The mall was always relaxing to me...a good color scheme to walk through. And the Christmas decorations back then...spectacular (well, when malls and store used to go out of their way to put them up).
