TRY ADVIL!! (Or any any Inflammatory it may work for you if stuff gets stuck. 10 years ago I started getting things stuck in my throat (starting with pills) just like a lot of you I got kicked around from Doc to doc got a barium swallow and finally saw ENT who cared enough to ignore every other doctor and diagnosis me properly and I’m sorry I don’t remember exactly what I have I just remember him FINALLY validating that I was in fact getting things stuck and that there really wasn’t anything he could do. “Just try to be careful when you swallow” - yup that was the professional advice -- on accident I found out Ibuprofen worked. I was taking it for something else, but I noticed the thing that was stuck in my throat was gone within a few hours instead of a few days so I know a lot of you have totally different problems but those of you getting stuff stuck in your throat may as well try it.

Been doing this a LOT over the last couple of years (I'm 62). As a matter of fact, I did it again a few minutes ago (it's been maybe 3 weeks since the last time). And as some people are also saying here, I get things going down the wrong pipe and also stuck in the back of my nose so I have to be really careful when sniffing to clear it because I can easily sniff it down my trachea from there. Yes, it worries me when it comes to vomiting because that can also cause these same two problems and that is especially gross. Tmi? I understand.

Ianessa i was trying to ask one question if you. I scored PAS 6 my SLP reffered me for FEES ENT..? Aswell as to Neurology examination aswell . Do you know any treatments that can help or is surgery an option? How do you treat those with PAS 8 for example surgery? Or is there any exercises that I may not know .?
