Love would be so much easier if the elites the ones controlling the money was not so selfish to a point they will lose it once an anti-money movement ignites again as history tells us it will just look at the Arab Spring from like 10 years ago
only one explanation.God given talent, both mrs.austin and mister watanabe. Sadeo happens to be from the most beautiful country in the world by far its not even close......Japan.
I bought this cd many years back even though at the time, I was unfamiliar with Sadao's playing. I was familiar with Diane Warren's compositions and that peaked my interest so I bought it. I've always loved this ballad and Patti's voice, clarity, power and diction was the perfect choice. To use the old maxim, they don't write songs like this any more...because nobody can.
She always had such a pure and elegant voice. I remember this song as a kid. If I am not mistaken Patti Austin would lend her voice to a lot of television commercial songs. I remember her voice on M&M commercials
Great song. I was a senior in high school when this song came out. Brings back so many good memories. Saw Patti and Sadeo I think on the Today Show and fell in love the song instantly

I've listened to her music for years, such a beautiful woman and a beautiful artist .
*Tuve que tararear la canción a Google porque lo unico que recordaba desde 1989 era su melodía*
Real music!
god given talent right there by patti and sadao theres no other explanation.
Why I couldn't find this version on apple music? Even after searching under her name & his name. Don't know why? Copyright issue?

Watched Sadao Watanabe perform live in Kuala Lumpur in the late 80s. Still enjoy this song very much even after decades have passed.
Totally agree. Patti’s lush vocals make this song a hit. Sadly, Sadao’s album Front Seat has been pulled from the streaming services.

2022 Anyone?
Yes I am here listening to this great song in 2022!
Me! I love 💘 Patt's voice. It's very unique. I also liked her song "Every Home Should Have One."
Many artists sang this master piece but Patti Austin version is the best one to me.
Morale is nothing like missed opportunities and lost loves
I wish I could find this on Apple Music
respect!
CD 101.9 FM memories ✨
I never knew Nabesada was on sax. I knew Patti was singing it though.

Been living on this song for over 30 years now. Always rejuvenates.
I never realized I would love smooth jazz when I heard this as an 18 year old in 1989
It is natural...
