Nice! Just came across the channel.. seems like it should grow fast!
@@FiveOenduro it’s definitely starting to. Plus I’ll be on weekly uploads in January when we hit the road full time so that’ll help.
@@Exploringthewildlands Sweet! I just saw you have more videos than I thought.. so something is catching the algorithm! Keep it up 👍🏼
@ thanks!
Great video. Your rig definitely looks better than mine.
@@Rventureland thanks! I’ll check yours out haha.
Very thought out build!
@@nathanmunn thanks!
How did you partner with Morimoto?
@@MrThatoneguy689 talked with their content department.
those interior zippers clacking during winds. I need to replace mine. What did you use to replace metal zipper pulls?
@@MavHntr yea they’re terrible. I used Aeronaughts zipper pulls but just recently on my new camper I just got some cheap ones from Amazon.
Any squat? oem susp?
@@adamcline3675 yea I’d say it squatted about an inch but that was with the tent on too.
Great review. What was the mpg change with the cap on/off?
@@ericm6863 I’m not sure I noticed anything really. With the tent on the cap it was probably 1 to 2
I'm in that area often. If you wanna go back with back-up let me know. I've been trying to find a trail buddy.
@@Gamet36 message me in instagram.
Very nice setup. Clean install and great use of space. Very nice!
@@donward8915 thanks!
The best views this side of the Mississippi
@@Offroad_Landscapes pretty much!
Short and sweet 👌🏼
@@sevynblanes thanks!
Awesome run. I've been itching to get back up there for the last 3 weeks. Yet family business and DR's appointments have held me back. However, you've talked me into it now! Yep, tire chains, traction boards and shovels, and possibly snowshoes if I get carried away and keep heading North! Thank you.
@@allentisthammer4763 yea stuff always seems to get in the way! But yea just gotta get out there!
It was definitely mid 21.
Great to watch!
@@Range-Pro_1 thanks!
How do you like your mickeys? I am really debating between them and the Toyo mts. They didn’t seem to have any issues in the mud
@@tylerarmijo4694 I love them. So far best tire I’ve had. Been in a lot of the soupy trail mud we get up here in the forest and they seem to hook well and clean out well. I’m sure the Toyo mt would still be better at it since these are AT but got all around they’ve been great.
Do you ever deal with pinstripes? Or just leave them
@@UA-camuser1aa I have a ton. Pretty much the whole side of each side of the truck.
@@Exploringthewildlands yeah if my tremor is covered I can’t imagine the wide body. Do you ever buff them out or try?
@@UA-camuser1aa I have once and they came out. I’m probably gonna do it one more time in January since I’ll be hitting more trails in the south so hopefully not as narrow.
@@Exploringthewildlands cool. Imma try the same.
Hot damn let's go! Pumped for this one 😎👊
Does water come in when the wings are open? Or does it track around the openings? Like, when the sides/back are open, does water drip in at the hinges? Thanks for any input, I'm really striking out finding this answer!
@@Sarahhammond-l1l the seals are on a channel on the camper not the doors so it would travel around the channel and not get inside.
@@Exploringthewildlands thank you so much for the info! super helpful!
That Intro is MINT. Reminds me of changing characters in GTAV
@@iambecuzican oh yea haha
I am curious if AT mentioned how cold of temps the Truma will work down to. Super Pacific also installs them but propane doesn't do well when it's colder. I still use the diesel heater but the truma is interesting.
@@hunter_pauley when I was getting it installed at Oregon AT he mentioned using it in the teens and down to almost 0 without issue. I guess I’ll see this winter haha. Also gonna run the ignik tank cover so hopefully gives a little bit of insulation. But so far so good and works nice having the thermostat so you don’t get burned out of the tent.
@@Exploringthewildlands good to know. I looked everywhere online and couldn’t find much.
@@hunter_pauley yea I couldn’t find anything either. Was also told they sip propane. We will see. I’m sure much more gets used when it’s very cold out.
Awesome video, Love the habitat setup!
@@sevynblanes thank you!
Looks like good times and good food, so much room for activities in the new setup!
@@upper_left_adventures yea there’s a ton of room. Also excited to do more of the burgers haha
Looks like a pretty sick set-up. I am currently waiting to pickup a Tune M1. Nothing like dropping five figures and then waiting 2+ months for the product to be available for pickup.
@@TheWrigle yea paying and waiting definitely sucks. I want it immediately haha
Definitely more room and creature comforts. Good luck on the full-time adventures.
@@petergiers8515 thanks!
Great review. I have a GFC. I love it but agree full time it wouldn't work for two people. BTW I'm 6' and my wife is 5' the transforma floor works great for us. We don't use one of the square panels. Everything in prospective.
@@petergiers8515 yea it was perfect for a few week long trips and weekend trips. I think if we didn’t have our dogs sleep in the bed it would have felt more roomy once I’d wake up and go down in the mornings.
this was really well done
@@Offroad_Landscapes thanks!!
What brand is your bug net on the tailgate?
@@RAMtrails it’s Oregon AT they make it there.
FREAKING COOL! I didn't realize there were so many upgrades coming from your old set up. I for sure call top bunk once I'm out there with you!
@@iambecuzican yea a lot changed haha. You can get cozy up on the reading nook hahaha
Gusikowski Ports
"It's Not A House." 😂 Well said, walk around. I like the video shots with the drain holes on the billet parts (I don't have those). We, too, stopped using the ladder. Just a little viewer FYI HEST now offers the GFC Trans-Form-A-Floor 4" of heavenly sleep 😴 (closes with no issues NOTE! Only available for standard 50" midsize. TurboNap, as you mentioned, comes in all sizes, but it's only 3"). We also use a bunch of SeaSucker products for monitors, RotopaX, shovel mount, and universal tie downs. No plans on selling any time soon. And yes, winter camping rocks. No people and no bugs. 😂 Enjoy the AT definitely a lot more room. I know RevereOverland ran with one for some time but switched over to the AluCab. Pros and Cons of everything. 🛻+⛺️=🙂! @@OutOfOfficeCamping so far hest only makes for the standard size though not the xl. I waited months then they didn’t do both sizes haha. So far I’m enjoying the AT a lot more. Also fun to make everything work for us again.
@Exploringthewildlands Yes, you're correct! I should edit my comment only on the standard 50" midsize. That's so cool you're digging the AT! It's fun to try new things and figure out new systems. Not to mention, you get a ton of space with our the weight of some of the other campers on the market. I think that's why we still have our 1999 Coleman popup. Of course, it hasn't left the driveway in over a year. 🤣 Happy Camping! - Mark
Welcome to the Habitat Fam! We love ours. Sleeping 4 of us in the tent is so easy and spacious. Excited for your videos to come 🇺🇸
@@FirstGenTRD4x4 thanks! Excited to be here haha. Yea just the two of us there’s so much room.
Awesome setup! I always wanted one of these too. How much did the entire setup ended up costing you?
@@madude91 you’d be disgusted lol. I got it all together with the bed build in. It was around $27k 🤮 but the camper alone with the add ons was around $16k I believe. $18.5 with the heater.
@@Exploringthewildlandslooks like it’ll be worth every penny. The bed build is 🤌
@@RAMtrails so far it has been. Nothing to complain about that’s for sure.
@@Exploringthewildlands I expected it not to be cheap and i am not too surprised. I am sure it's cheaper if you do it yourself but then again there was engineering that went into it and the convenience factor is worth it off you have the cash. Sadly I need to save up more but I am attempting to do one myself.
@@madude91 yea takes a while to save up. Luckily I had part of it paid with the gfc sale.
My initial thought was "it looks like the old one" and then it flipped over :D what a huge camper. Can't wait to see more in a video
@@hoch_und_runter yea I’m glad it has mostly the same footprint closed but soooooo much room open
When does Nate get his?
@@MrOhHai he’s so close
cool pat
Congrats!! Hopefully it works out for you folks. I recently just got the Lone Peak on my truck and love it. Have fun and can’t wait to see the next video.
@@sskirv5071 thanks. So far it’s been great. The extra room in it is so nice.
That wildfire looks BAD
That thing is YUGE!!!
@@Ryon_Davis haha it is
Great video. Can’t wait to see the videos you create once you guys are full time!
@@Theroamingrockhound thank you! Yea I’m excited to have more time to create overall!
Great down to earth, honest review. This was a breath of fresh air. I’ve been really happy with my GFC camper the short while I’ve had it, but there are so many great options out there! Excited to see what you’re in next.
@@Theroamingrockhound tried to tell it how it was. Also should have a video soon showing it.
What camper did you get?
@@nathanaramco6813 AT Habitat. It’s on. Will have a video in a few weeks.
@@Exploringthewildlands awesome
Yeah, I did them a month ago and they felt much deeper and steeper than they appear on video. I have a 1992 Toyota 4x4 pickup with added TruTrac limited slip diff and it handled them just fine.
@@highdesertforester yea you definitely feel it when you’re on them.
what are you getting!?
@@nessoffice5207 AT Habitat. It’s on. Will have a video in a few weeks.
Tent still just better... dont have to pack up everything to just go for a drive etc
@@ChrisDied I usually don’t stay at a spot more than a night so I’d have to pack up anyways.
@@Exploringthewildlands im sure....
Good to see actual honest review, congrats on the new camper!

I'm 56 years old I've been four wheeling since I was 15 years old. I don't ever remember anyone talking about airing down or air up until about 2 or 3 years ago. Since when did that ever become such a thing. No need 😂😂😂😂😂
