I actually tried on hard mode to test RG against hell vanguard, did the triple perfect jump release plus full dt explosion and he was dead. I was shocked to see so much power

I hate this mission, not mainly for the fallen bastards, but the rotation switches make me lose myself and so much time

I notice you don't play with turbo mode. Is it because it sucks most of the time or you just prefer regular pace of the game ? Also your skills are superb 😃

Fighting Arkham on normal was a pain already. Watching someone fight him on DMD, it's like he absorbed a Nokia 3310! Jesus H. Christ, what an unnecessarily tanky boss!

Hate this boss. Eventually i got good enough to beat the rest of the bosses, even the annoying ones on DMD and still get a good rank, but Arkham is the only one i use items on.

This is my fav mission in the game, i also feel like non turbo is fast enough in terms of attacks, the slowness is movement speed it's slow af.

After smashing about 30% of her health she starts just flying away all the time without charging bazooka. Any suggestions? Or this exaclty her second phase?

been playing faust in strive (my first fg) for about a year now and i remember watching this early on and really wanting to learn it but quickly realizing how beyond me it was. now in celestial i am finding i need to make optimal use of every knockdown to keep momentum going and stay on the offense, but holy fuck is timing a 1 frame meaty 2K the hardest shit ive ever had to do. any tips on how to learn this? its just a manual timing right?

I know theres like a 90 percent Chance you won't see this but what style would you recommend? I maxed out swordmaster and almost trickster

Nero and even (sometimes) Vergil can be a piece of cake and just boil down to memorization. Dante is memorization and execution with strict timing, and oh boy is finger cramping most times. I know everyone likes to diss Nero for being "too simple" but honestly I find myself coming back to him after Dante and Vergil turn my hands into a pretzel.

Why you didn't use beowulf ? And what's your opinion about nevan? I think it is most enjoyable and fun devil arm in entire game series( but idk i didn't play DMC 4 yet ) Mocking enemies with guitar solos is the most pleasant feeling i ever had 😂

I've been trying out the timing for that eye release using savestates on PSCX2 (I own this game on 5 different platforms so I think i'm entitled) And my god it's wierd! The timing for the regular guard on it is awkward enough as the hit comes about a split second after you feel it really should, and adding the awkwardness of being at the neccacery height to release through the back of his head makes it really really hard to set up reliably .

I just realised that cancelling animations like Pay Line with Break Away is really useful if you have a PC. Modders have all the fun.

Kinda funny, before I watched your video I started dmd today and on this same mission after some trial and error I ended up with the same setup you had for this mission lol, same guns, weapons, and style. You're better at the game though haha.

yeah... no, I fucking hate royalguard because my timing is dog shit and for some reason it doesnt block anything correctly even if properly timed.
