    Hello, nice build! I was wondering a few things. What type of can are you using. 33 or 50 cl? And second, have you puched two cans togehther to make the cylinder?

    You should add a water jacket to the cooling part of the engine that works on these designs though idk how it will work on that because the cooling chamber seems too smol very fast already though How much torque does it give out if it gives out more than its weight thats a huge success.

    Did somebody make that crank shaft free hand? If so hats of to that individual. If this is a kit plz let me know

    Really cool! I would like to know more about what bits and pieces you used, what did you use to maintain a seal where the displacer piston rods insert into the can? Looks like you welded a piece of tubing with a suitable diameter using something like jb weld or plastic cement? Im curious if you ever connected this thing to a DC motor with permanent magnets or similar, and see how many LEDs it could light up :) ?

    i think that with 2 or more engines in a row on the same crank it could create some kind of interference in motion and create an issue if high speed is wanted. this engine is realy nice, dont get me wrong but by hearing and seeing the changes in rpm. this could be the cause. great engine, thanks for sharing

    When it slows down and speeds up, is that the different cylinders fighting each other? As seen at 1:50 to 2:05. Or is it something else?

    Nice working engine. Well made and works properly. But i had to say its strange that the shaft out the flywell is so long and the engine increased speed just when the outer part of the shaft is not visibile. Also the outer shaft which turns really off-center, starts to turn straight BEFORE the motor increases in speed. Perhaps this could happen to a shaft closer to the rotation axis but certainly after the speed increase. Maybe I'm wrong, however I'm sorry to move these criticisms because I think you did a great job.

    You can clearly hear a drill powering it when it's running fast

    • @ballHand
      @ballHand Рік тому

      I can't hear the drill but if you look at the crankshaft it straightens out suddenly just before it picks up in speed. Not to mention it is suspicious as to why the crank extends so far past the flywheel to begin with

      They are silver balloons that have had the tops of pop bottles attached to the top of the balloon. It's a pretty common thing among pop can Stirling engines
