Here’s a summary of what we cover in this AT Overland rig walk-around overview video: Once you’ve chosen your AT Overland truck topper, whether it’s a Summit™, a Habitat™, or an Atlas™, you might start thinking about how to accessorize it so it works exactly like you want it to. What Comes Standard Every AT Overland topper comes standard with certain features such as clear coated aluminum exter...
This design will survive a rainstorm very windy weather
They should add 2 support beams or adjustable sticks or poles on both corners of the rear of the tent bed for shock so it won’t snap in half.,
Not a single one has snapped in half since 2016...
Does the cab have pass through window to front cab?
Pass through, no. There is an option for a slider window though.
@atoverland you guys should do more UA-cam videos!

@@atoverlandequipment looking forward to it 🙌🏼
Got any owners around Western North Carolina wanting to sell theirs for a 5’ bed Tacoma?
You might want to check out our AT Overland Toppers group! It’s a great place to find toppers for sale from time to time. Here's the link: facebook.com/groups/1722612768053210/
Why is nobody building these with kitchens like pop up tent campers?
We offer custom cabinetry options for our toppers designed to fit refrigerators, stoves, and, in some cases, water storage and portable sinks. It all depends on what works best for your lifestyle.
80k. Need a 3/4-1 ton. No bathroom. wat.
Flatbed required. A cab chassis truck is recommended. Wrappon dry toilet so you don't have to deal with black water. If a flatbed camper isn't quite what you're looking for, stay tuned for our slide-in model releasing mid-March.
We need a flatbed version.
What’s the weight on this? How far on center are aluminum studs? And thickness of shell sheeting? Thanks
The weight of this particular unit was around 550, but it will vary depending on add-ons. There are no aluminum studs. Its a continuous, uninterrupted panel of 1-inch thick honeycomb composite. Studs are structurally unnecessary in this unit.
Wondering if there are alternatives to that vestibule but with some windows and mosquito nets?
Not at this time. Great idea though!
Where can I buy one near Vancouver, Washington
Our dealer in Bend Oregon can certainly help you out! You can find their contact info at this link: oregonat.com/
Nice camper. Looking for something that will fit my second gen 2014 Tacoma long bed. Is this the 600 model? Do you have pictures of the inside?
Yes, this is the 600 model. The interior of this unit was unfinished as it was the fitment test. The inside is highly customizable depending on your lifestyle.
how do you seal the back pf the topper to the truck bed sides?
We use Rok Block to seal the rear of the unit to where the tailgate used to be.
This looks awesome, but due to the size and shape of the roof, there's no way to haul surfboards.
Surfboard haulin' is definitely better suited for our other truck toppers. Depending on the size of your board, you could always stash it inside.
Excellent presentation! Super designed product and professionally presented without any drama!
Awesome!
Is there one for the short bed?
We offer this unit for a variety of bed sizes all the way down to 5ft.
this thing is wholesome!!! the price is also pretty reasonable! Love it, will definite consider once got a truck next.
Can the tailgate stay on with the 650 model instead of the 675 for the Silverado HD 2500?
Yes, that would be possible with this toper. Or you can achieve something similar with our up-coming slide-in unit.
@ do you have a link or more details on it already?
@ Not yet. We should have more details of the slide-in around mid-March.
How 'bout a video on a full sized 4 door? Even some of the interior. (I have an Aterra topper ordered and would like to see more particularly in how my dome fan/s are located.)
Thanks so much for the feedback! We'll make sure to capture some footage the next time we install an ATP on a full-size 4-door. This video was from a test fit, so the interior wasn’t fully built out yet. If you don’t see any images of the dome fan on our website, feel free to email us at info@atoverland.com, and we’ll be happy to snap a few pics for you. Thanks again!
That looks like a slide-in truck camper?
Looks can definitely be deceiving! Even though it might not seem like it at first glance, this is actually a truck topper.
Any chance you’ll be doing a rear door set up for full size trucks soon??
As a matter of fact, we already do! You can find out more by visiting our Aterra Topper page here ---> atoverland.com/pages/at-aterra-truck-topper
This system makes me question every overland build I have seen. Holy cow this is incredible. The fit, form and function are perfect. The walls under the tent patio is brilliant! No awning to catch and tear while driving down the trails. Nothing hanging off the side of the trailer. Strong, light weight and meticulously crafted! Great job AT Overland!
They make a very nice product
Thank you for the kind words!
Nice to see you’re still on business
Over 20 years and counting!
@@atoverlandequipment really impressive! A couple of years ago I received an awesome ATO truck camper on our campsite Baja Serena Rv Park in Baja, Mex. Our guests were so kind so show me the interiors and I thought it was kicking and I can tell it totally reflects a lot of expertise in it. I wish I can find more of you on SM / YT. Good vibes guys!

Why the hell have campers become so absurd in price? For people with more money than brains? How is a camper just as expensive if not more expensive than the truck holding it?
Thank you for your comment and apologies for the delayed response. We understand the concerns regarding the cost of our campers. At AT Overland, our pricing reflects the extensive engineering, rigorous testing, and premium materials that go into each product. These elements ensure durability, reliability, and safety in the most demanding environments. The cost also supports our dedicated team, many of whom are veterans, and helps us continue to innovate and push the boundaries of overlanding technology. Additionally, running a small business involves significant overheads that are crucial to maintaining quality and service standards. We’re committed to delivering exceptional value and experiences to our customers, and we believe in creating products that stand the test of time. The support from our customers enables us to keep advancing and providing livelihoods for our families and employees. We hope that clarifies things a bit. Thank you again for your comment.
May you please advise the strenght/power of the gas springs?
when you collipse that top it hits too hard that needs to be fixed
The cost of those windows are so astronomical it’s offensive, $5-$800 each, such a ridiculous price. It would really be a feat for a company to make an affordable camper, that would really be interesting.
High quality double pane windows with built in blinds and screens windows are not inexpensive. We will not skip on quality.
IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII LOVE IT.✌🏽
what is the reason for the heater to be install on the side without window ? ( if the window not on use/ closed, what is the problem? )
There is not enough room for both the heater and the window on the same side.
There's never going to be one rig that ticks all of the boxes. But I think this one is my favorite for a full hard sided camper and at only 1150lbs dry weight for the base model. I love the aerodynamics. It's angled in all the right places. Biggest turn off for me is the propane system. Filling and dealing with propane is a hassle not to mention that propane tends to be a wet heat. An option for a hydronic heat and hot water system or at least a Webasto/Eberspacher style heater would be more to my liking. Hopefully whatever flat bed you went with could build and install a grey water tank somewhere underneath your rig or built-in to the flat bed. That would tick all the boxes for me. Still, great camper.
The Truma Varioheat that we use is a forced air heater that has not interior air contact with the combustion flame and therefore no moisture is introduced by it into the camper. "Wetness" comes from catalytic heaters like the Mr. Buddy and others with that type of technology.
That is a fantastic topper camper made from durable Aluminum, Where are your location is? If I decide to come there and do some customs as similarity as on UA-cam video, or ordering on line but, it’s better to install it by you or certify technician. Is there any in Orange country California that I can go or closer ? Thank you for the video and all step by step well done explanation
We are based in Prescott, Arizona. We welcome you to make an appointment to visit.
So you’re trying to say is I can’t go to Pound town lol
Great walk through. Beautiful topper.
Great Demo!! I love this product. Will seriously consider this when I get my new 2025 or 2026 Tundra. I need to have access to all the features of the original bed, which I do with this product- some bed covers do not. I'd be interested to know if flip-up windows on the side come in a non-see through or utility option.
We do offer top hinged cargo doors of the same dimensions.
Thanks
Very well designed
Can it be had with a Webasto diesel heater? How difficult to remove the unit. Only need it on when using rest of time it needs to come off.
Is $64k just for the camper? That’s nuts! I’m shopping for a new camper and moving into a hard side from my FWC Hawk. Great design but wow! Way too pricy and get a new camera operator. I felt a seizure coming on from all the jerky motion.
How much weight can the cantilevered part in the back take? Looks pretty dicey lol
600 lbs
Do these have issues with water leakage
No
Can you put a cargo gear container like a Tule on top of the tent? To store more gear? How much weight can it hold
Yes, you can put up to 100 lbs on the roof and still lift it.
Hello camper, it was a nice post. Is there a production video of this tent? Greetings from Turkey, welcome to my off road channel GT 4X4
Nice for fair weather but i dont know about downpour rain, thundetstorm, winds, etc.. Pretty pricey for what it is as well.
Very nice!
When I win the lotto and build myself an expedition vehicle, I'm going to visit Mario's company.
I'm happy with mine. Love it!! I wished the strut is pneumatically or electrically actuated to open and close the roof tent😁. ua-cam.com/users/shortsgpx1TRhzS3o?si=CQtgC68JhGbuczrT
Thankyou so much ,wow beautiful product ,great demo, God bless.
AT should sell that air exchanger as a stand alone product. Would buy one for my camper.
Hmmm...
