250 is smoother overall. However, at cruising speed 400 feels effortless. 400 has vibes below 80 KmPH. However at 110 120 400 feels smooth and rock steady even if you have pillion and language. 250 is very good for a solo ride .

Popular bajaj in bannerghatta road is pretty good. Bajaj service centre not gonna use motul. At least for 3 services do not shift to other brands of engine oil it is not needed bro.

@@roninr8199 brother don't go for local as of it's a complex machine try to find a good service centre and if you are not satisfied with their service you can raise complaint .

He just parked for 2 hours an said service done even though I was watching him. 😂😂 Imagine if I left and returned in evening. There are popular local mechanics who repair super bikes too like 1000 cc etc I use my bike only in highway so can't take any chance. For ecuupdate I think I have to go to Bajaj. No other ways

If you want a Honda just get the Honda. But if you want Indian culture and legacy & "Cult" then RE would make sense. But practically speaking I would choose the meteor because of the gearing ratio. Honda has a peculiar gearing ratio. However, if you ignore that part then Honda makes little more sense because the fit and finish of Honda is just awesome. Also cruisers are not for everyone as the riding ergonomics is very strict. Honda has a neutral riding ergonomics. RE spares cost and service network is better than Honda. The suspension of the meteor is not good I had to swap out. Unlike Meteor Honda's engine is refined and doesn't have that tick tick sound. Honda has better pillion comfort. I had to modify the pillion seat of my meteor. So you need to judge all of these and check out whatever suits you best.

I personally prefer air seats. Not only does it enhance comfort but it also acts as an extra suspension. It takes some time to get used to. Figuring out the perfect amount of the air is the difficult part.

I keep it at the 2nd step away from the softest side with pillion it may bottom out in certain speed breaks but it ride will be a little softer. I can't give you exact settings because your body weight is not the same as mine. Try out all possible combinations and eventually you will know your sweet spot

Cruisers are not for everyone. It is a very restrictive way of riding a motorcycle. Not everyone's frame (body dimensions) will support the ergonomics. Dominar's ergonomics is typical sports tourer style. Dominar's ergonomics will not put pressure on your tail bone. However, domi 400 is a top heavy machine so you will have to get used to it. Another point domi is more powerful than a meteor so mileage is little lesser than meteor 350. If possible take a rental domi and go for a 100 kms ride to figure out if it fits you perfectly.
