My wife (Kristy) and I decided to sell everything and leave home for an adventure around the world. We thought UA-cam would be a great place to document the journey.
Fast travel isn't really our thing (yet!) - so we stay at each location for about a month. Staying longer allows us to see more, home school our son, and enjoy the small things.

A Comedy of Errors: How I Almost Missed the Granada Bus and Got Served a Side of Food Poisoning
In this video, we are getting ready to head to Granada, a beautiful city in Spain that many people love. However, things don't go quite as planned and we almost miss our bus!! When we arrive in Granada, we have trouble getting data on our phones, but eventually we find a Movie Star location that allows us to recharge our cards because we need data to unlock the door to our Airbnb.
When we arrive at our Airbnb we discover a local food gift waiting for us and we take a tour of the apartment... later that night... food poisoning...

It's disgusting, cruel, how you can hurt an incent animal, shame on the ppl how support this kind of cruel show
Which pal’s restaurant location, city, did you visit?
Best vlog of Asheville!
The tree is my favorite. I have so many memories there. Thank you for posting. 😊
For people saying this is cruel. Let me ecplain why our Tradition in my opinion is the opposite. When Bulls, Cows, pigs and all those animals are born most of them are born to die butchered for meat. Bulls in our eyes are given a worthy death and the death is clapped to show respect to the bull. At the slaughterhouse bulls, cows and other animals definitely stand no chance. Meanwhile in the arena eventhough the chances for the bull are little they do have a chance of coming oit alive. And if not they are given a worthy death unlike the animals that die in the slaughterhouse. I hope this explains a bit better.
Your comment is a perfect example of cognitive dissonance.
We got lost so many times in Serville but in a good way .
This festival is something very primitive that descends from ancient Rome that teaches you that life is something that depends on a thread where the person can die in front of your eyes or be injured and it is something that this modern and aseptic world that hides death does not tolerate
What an excellent film. I’m glad you did your homework and went in with an open mind. Is bullfighting cruel? Well yes, but would you want to be in front of that beast with a cape and a sword? We’re going to the festival in Seville in august and hope to take my third bullfight in along with the rest of the party. Again, well done on a perfectly balanced film.
Deriving pleasure from animal torture reveals deep psychological issues similar to those behind human torture, such as a lack of empathy, a desire for control, or unresolved trauma. It reflects a profound disconnection from compassion and a disregard for moral decency.
Horrible .. monsters clapping..not humans. So much pain induced and peoples having fun. This is different than slaughtering for food..pure evil
The only negative I’ve ever heard about Seville is the summer heat.
It's just horrible... I couldn't watch the scenes when the bull was dying :(
It is very beautifull to watch. It has been part of our culture for more than 2000 years.
@@Alvaro-sp4gm i don't really like it, but the psychology behind it is interesting. someone who is a good person and who loves animals might still choose to watch it. maybe as humans we enjoy violence in a controlled setting. i have to admit animals are eaten for food anyway so what is the difference?
Omg with your glasses on I thought you were Hair Buddha!🤣🤣
Basically, i truly thought it would atleast be a sporting chance for both parties involved...but it was never the case....now and then if the bull makes it through the fight hes either shot down or put for stud...at least this was all i was told ....
Went to sevilla over 20 years ago on a USO tour...thought it would be an experience for me....the bull just never had a chance....basically the conquistadors come out first and spear the bull to his spinal area to weaken him for the matador....anyway it's the most unfair and cruel way to treat an animal...after bleeding to death the matador finally sticks in his sword ...and the bull just drops....butchers take away the meat....
Since the bull is color blind, any color cape would do but red is the tradition ...
Tutta roba buona e genuina❤
There is not one square inch in all of Morgan County that isn't beautiful! Believe it or not, Lancing used to be a railroad town and it was a booming little town back in the day....come back and stay with us Morgan Countians again! ❤❤❤
My level of jealousy right now.....why am I still in Ireland??? This is like my idealistic idea of Spain!
Y después una buena barbacoa de vaca
Poor guy....hugs
Ay Sevilla qué bonita es
ES INCREIBLE Q COSTA RICA Q VIVE DEL TURISMO TENGA CARRETERAS TAN EN MAL ESTADO ES UNA VERGUENZA 😮😮
You pay all that money and they don't let you film?? That's ridiculous. It's not like there are actual prisoners there. 🤪
Those are my friends, Maddie, and Geraldo! I haven’t seen them in so long lol I have to call her and tell her she’s a UA-cam star

Hi.. I’m heading back to Costa Rica next week.. I’ve been twice .. we are driving to Montezuma from San Jose, it’s about a five hour ride. Would you say that taking the ferry saves you time? And do you know how much time?
I lived there for a year in the 1970s. I'm afraid to go back because it's changed so much. Perhaps for the better? ¡Ojalá! Great video. Are you still there, and do you work in Sevilla?
I live here. Been here for 27 all years.
Sorry to hear that. Hope you are feelign better. What did you guys eat that you think gave you food poisoning?
I LOVE 🇪🇸 🇪🇸 🇪🇸
I love Madrid! Thanks.
Thanks for sharing. I love the Retiro. I lived half a mile away from it when I was a young girl. My mom later immigrated to US to reunite with my cuban family living here.
I see you bought sliced bread, but not the normal bread we eat in Spain (you buy it on a daily basis at the "panadería"). Once you eat that bread, you´ll never want sliced ever again ;) :D
I spent a month in Seville, one week, Semana Santa. Up at Noon beddy bye at 4AM Bodegas, tapas, religious processions, the horses and the music. Escorted around by someone from an Old Family. Sobered Easter Sunday in front of the Bull Ring eating a sheep brain sandwich. Had to be fortified for the bullfights. Viva Espana!
I would recommend you a coastal tour in Spain. Perhaps not a month, but 2 weeks at each place, Huelva, Cadiz, Málaga, Granada, Almería are all great experiences all in Andalucia, Cartagena in Murcia, Alicante - Elx - Costa Blanca, Denia, Ibiza - Formentera Mallorca - Menorca València, Castelló, Tarragona, Barcelona Girona, Donostia, Bilbo, Santander, Oviedo - Gijón, Lugo, A Corunha, Pontevedra, (21 stages, less than a year) and after that Portugal, Porto, Lisboa y Alentejo. Or in the other way, starting from the south of Portugal.
You are full of prejudices!: executions, beheadings, hangings and stuff like that!. It's as if I go to the United States and point out: millions of Indians were killed here and the rest were given blankets infected with smallpox. This was where black people were hanged for sitting in the wrong place on the bus. This was where american people celebrated the killings they did in Vietnam. Here a young student entered and killed twenty people! And that is just one of the hundreds of massacres that take place in the country... I can continue counting atrocities! What a mania to see how bad others are when you are full of shit!. What do you really know about Spain?. Relax and enjoy our hospitality, kindness, tolerance, knowing how to live, good food and good drink and think things through before you start writing about things that have been told to you in your school to hide the many atrocities that you have done! Naturally it's just my opinión!
Wow! That's awful. Sorry you guys got sick. Granada is so beautiful! Hope you got better and were able to see some of the sites. Blessings!
What area of Sevilla was that?
Food looks yummy in Seville.
Seville looks really nice.
Imagine if Americans(in this case, poorly educated Southerners) made a video. Well, there you go. At least they didn't slag on the locals for being "different". But, this wasn't exactly insider stuff. More like, Yokels unleashed.
Very well put video. Thanks for showing respect to this Spanish tradition and for educating us on the topic.
Madrid looks amazing. Thanks for sharing your adventures in Spain.
❤💛💛❤️
❤ Sevilla!
