You know, I've heard of Rose Red, but I've never been familiar with the story and wasn't sure who she was. A quick google search reveals she was Snow White's sister in some versions of the story, which is actually really interesting. Previously my entire referential knowledge of Rose Red has been a line from an old song by the band Hole that goes "Rose white and rose red rose up in my head." :D

I would love a sparkly Pixie throne! You'd still never see her though because she would always be hiding under a blanket. She's a burrower :D Yeah, had to take that hiatus, but definitely excited to be back. I was really itching to get back to the show over the last month. So many unanswered questions! I actually binge-recorded up until the final episode of season one today and since I can't seem to sleep anyway, I'm probably going to just go ahead and record the finale tonight. It's so good! Absolutely aces.

Well, I binge-recorded up until the finale episode today, and I currently hate her with the fire of a thousand suns for all the tears I cried :D but we'll see what the future holds!

Thanks! The stress of everything going on kicked off my autoimmune disease so I had to get on meds for that and everything, but I'm feeling so much better, and looking forward to diving back into recording ASAP! :)

That doesn't surprise me at all, but it does impress me! Having natural talent is amazing of course, but even to my mostly untrained ear I can tell he has put SO much work into developing whatever natural talent he was born with, and I find that even more extraordinary than someone just being born with a prodigal talent. :) That takes a lot of dedication and work, and that's amazing.

@barbarabishop9362 No, not at all! I'd love to jump back into the series. I love it so much! But unfortunately I can't record anything right now due to my living situation getting kind of unstable. It's not unsafe or anything, I'm just doing a lot of couch hopping and don't have anywhere to record. Hoping the situation rectifies itself soon!

That's very true! Their chemistry has been electric since the start, so when I learned they were the ones who fell in love on the show, I wasn't surprised. And I'm glad you're enjoying the videos! I had to take a brief hiatus but plan to get back into recording soon :)

I can't argue with that at all! All these actors, even the ones whose characters I don't particularly like as people, are stellar. Ace acting in this show!

I should have as a kid, but I was busy ready Goosebumps and Stephen King way earlier than was probably healthy for me :D And I apologize for the late reply. Sorry about the late response to this fantastic comment! I'm trying to get caught up on comments now that I have internet and my PC and everything. :) Yeah, Nova and Dreamy had a really great connection, and they had a similar vision for their future. And I think you're right about why the Blue Fairy went to Dreamy. He was definitely easier to manipulate than Nova, because despite her ambitious, big-dreaming nature, she was still more savvy than he was. I imagine there's more to their story, because there was that whole thing about getting caught with a diamond and trying win his love back, so I'm looking forward to that. And, perhaps, a beautiful reunion between them after the curse breaks and remember who they all are! :)

I think your comment is WAY more "wtf"-worthy, since you're essentially saying you would choose to avoid the consequences of your actions over saving the life of an innocent person. Particularly one who unknowingly walked into YOUR fuck-up trying to find you because they CARE about you. That's. . . WAY more "wtf"-worthy than me wanting Jesse to save Hank, dude.

@@nebulousreactions The actor who played him apparently mentioned that the character took him to a dark place mentally, considering that his inspiration for playing the role came from real life influences from his past growing up.

Sorry for the belated reply! I had to take a bit of a hiatus, and I'm getting caught up on comments :) I can totally understand how playing a character like Tucco could affect your mental state, because you're spending a lot of time focusing on some very dark and twisted avenues a human being can go down. I think actors usually try to find a way to relate to and humanize their villainous roles, and finding common ground with a monster could very well make you question yourself. "If I can empathize with and understand this awful person, what kind of person does that truly make me?" I could see that happening. Or just replaying old traumatic memories, if you're drawing on actual life experience like that, can reopen old wounds. I hope he talked to someone about that, or otherwise found a way to process those feelings in a healthy way. Nobody should have real-life experiences like that to draw from, particularly not from when you were growing up. Hope he's doing well now :)

Oh, indeed. I clocked onto that when Domingo reached for the shard even though Walt was going to free him. It's really heartbreaking how desperate Walter was to do the right thing, right to the very last moment, but Domingo couldn't let it go. And Domingo created the situation by trying to kill Walt and Jesse in the first place just to save face in front of his cousin, knowing damn well that he himself was the snitch the whole time! Man. Such a well-written and nuanced show.
