My Wolfbox g840S I bought new in July of 2023 & 5he screen has gone bad wouldn't power on til I took it apart & found it was the flat wire that controls the screen I wiggle it & it goes on & off & of course they only give a 1yr warranty got to pay for better warranty I'm buying another brand if I get another. I bought the mount for it to get rid of the factory mirror for $15 plus $129.99 for the dashcam mirror. I should at least get 2yrs out of it for $130

You are using your home wifi it won't work in your car.

Very helpful video. For tapping the fuse box, do you know what amperage the accessory fuse slot was that you tapped into? How did you know that power was running to that empty slot?

I have wolf box g840h and lately it started turning on and off nonstop that I have to unplug it every time I start the car.

Can you upgrade the 2.5k camera to a 4K. I find it bad for the eyes to look at. the picture on the front camera is better

can I attach the provided cigarette lighter plug to a 12v connector attached directly to the battery (avoiding the fuse box connection)? if so, I should be able to turn on/off manually when needed using the power button on the mirror.

Installed this in my car 2 days ago. The front camera is top notch, but it makes the rear camera look bad 😅. Overall a great product 👍🏻

The only thing keeping me from purchasing this is the mess of wires at the top of the mirror. If you can get that down to one wire and make it look clean, I would have purchased it yesterday.

the back camera is not good at night, unless it is fixed , the quality is bad

i am disapointed. for my second car i was searching for a small dashcam. But the 80$ china cam from the first car, is much better and cheaper.

Great video, helped me with routing the cable from the rear license plate into the cab.

I noticed that the G850 is terrible at reading license plates and lacks zooming capabilities. Also the video quality to read tags at night is very poor. No zoom makes this dash cam a waste of money.

What fuse would you recommend putting the yellow in if I did want it on constantly when parked?

Trying to update my firmware and mirror doesn't recognize card once i try to plug it back into the mirror. I followed the directions and tried multiple times but it still doesn't recognize the card. Any suggestions???

Initially I wrote a negative comment about Wolfbox and now I have to take it all back. We received a call today from a representative of Wolfbox. He spent an hour and forty minutes helping me and my wife get the free download for our iMac computer and reformatting the Wolfbox disk for the iMac computer. This representative was unfamiliar with the iMac and had to not only educate himself, but my wife (77) and me (81) as well. At all times he was very patient with us even though we occasionally had difficulty understanding what he was saying. We are so thankful for his patience and time and we're really thrilled with our dash camera system.

I hardwired it. Quick question. When I put the car into P and take the keys out. My screen remains on. Is there anyway for the screen to turn off automatically after I take the keys out? I don't want to use the screensaver bc I was hoping the screen would auto turn off after I turn the car off.

Do you need to buy extra cable if you're going to use reverse mode or will it work with the hardwire kits 🤔

I recently purchased the Wolfbox with the nema plug. I cannot get scheduled charging to work with my Tesla Model 3 Performance. I have tried: Scheduling the box to charge at a certain time through the wolfbox app and setting the car to plug and charge. Setting the Wolfbox to plug and charge and scheduling charging at a certain time through the car. Scheduling the exact same scheduled charging time in both the Wolfbox and in the car. Scheduling both the Wolfbox and the car to scheduled charging, but having the Wolfbox start one minute earlier. I leave the car plugged in overnight in all the above scenarios and it doesn't charge at the scheduled time. The only way it charges at all is without scheduling when both Wolfbox and car are set to plug and charge. Any help?
