I totally suck at this but I finally see it, I tried several times over past 27 years. I am not so excited as others, I am also kinda pissed thinking of how people were bad at explaining this to me. I had a totally misleading clue that I will see something like "full 3D" image like in 3D cinema, but it's rather just a silhouette shape in 3D space, with some parallax, and you still see all the colorful crap. If you are total sucker like me, here are some tips what worked for me: 0. If you have any epilepsy history don't even do this, it can hurt your eyes and your brain. 1. Use medium size device, ideally tablet as you need to maneuver with it a bit. It's way harder to get it on big screen. 2. Very important, try different images, those presented in this video are not the easiest I ever saw. The thing is the focal distance of all of them can be different so you need to get a bit lucky with your first one. 3. Make the image full screen. Put it 40cm away from yourself in front of window. 4. Look at some distant object outside (Anything from 10m to few hundred meters is fine) and slowly move the tablet in and out of your sight. The goal is to keep the eye focus far while having a tablet in your view. If you see double image you are on right track. The thing is your brain takes it as an error and tries to snap out of it right away. That is what prevents you from seeing it, you should kinda embrace the drunk effect (double image effect) instead, and keep torturing your eyes. 5. This is the key: When you start to see a little bit of relief in the image (still not the final goal of ugly colorful parallax 3D shape) just a very shallow depth relief all over the picture, you are on right track. You need to try to enjoy watching this shallow relief, very slightly try to change the angle of your tablet in all directions, like 1 degree, as if you are watching a hologram image. Try to force your brain into seeing little bit more depth. Then try to see even more depth. It takes several minutes and breaking through several of these parallax layers one by one. 6. If the window trick doesn't work, here is another great one. Put a flashlight from your phone a bit behind and above your head, towards the tablet in front of you. and watch the flashlight reflection in the screen. Focus your eyes on the reflection and your brain on the stereogram image. Try different images not only those presented here. Some of them are little bit easier to see, some I never managed to see. Also try to put a phone with flashlight on a shelf and walk with tablet a few meters away from flashlight. The focal point of stereogram image you are after can be in different depth depending of how author made it. So every image focal point will be at different distance. With some you will get lucky and get the focal point easily, with some you will keep trying for much longer and never get it. 7. It took me waaay longer than what video allows you, you have to pause it. 8. Do it when you are about to go to sleep, your eyes are tired and hard to focus, that is exactly what you are trying to achieve. The effect is like you are trying to see something with drunk eyes.

had to remove my glasses to see it, my glass are screwing it up. Mine is inverted tho, the heart is a hole instead of a pop up

Hey I have a small problem while looking at stereograms, i see them like in "reverse"? I know there should be 3d part "outside" screen but I see this part as inside, I've tried to look at many different stereograms and I have still same problem. I've managed to see true 3d outside only maybe 2 times somehow. Do you have any tips how to force brain to look at them in right way?

1. Hammer 2. Frog 3. Kind of percussion in hearth shape? 4. Peace sign 5. 4-leaf clover 6. not sure what it is (02:20) 7. Hearth in some 5-star 8. Sailboat 9. Halloween pumpkin? 10. Some weird shape built of 4 hearth-shapes (03:55) 11. Kind of spiral? (04:08) 12. Horse (04:30) 13.

I am trying but it is not working. First there were no black circles. One was dissappearing, then they both disappeared. I try with the sand, staring at one peice of sand, even brought it up close. My eyes blink and then nothing happens. ??? I know I was able to do this when I was young. Does cataract surgery have something to do with me not being able to see.? I know when I see print I can. Just not pictures.

Stereograms aren't real. Or maybe I need X-Ray vision to be able to see the image.

I cant even see the 3 dots I have no idea what im doing but I stared at it for like 30 minutes and I only see 2

I have a macular scar on my retina in one eye.which has affected the shape of my retina. Can this affect my ability to see stereographs?
