This is a terrible performance. I don't care what the "correct" tempo is, when you're attempting to play it so fast that it nearly falls apart 4 separate times in the hands of one of the best orchestras in the world, it's too fast. By the trio, it's slowed down several BPM anyway, because no one can play polka at the ridiculous tempo set at the beginning, and this movement is not supposed to change tempo. For all you "Ackshually, this is the correct tempo" snobs, there is a reason no one plays it this fast. The same reason no one plays Mars as fast as Holst intended. It doesn't sound good that fast, and it loses all musical nuance. WTH do you think "Non Troppo" means??
