You say elo hell isnt real. but I have experienced it. back in overwatch one I get suck in sub 1000 sr and nothing I did could get me out. I made a new account and immediately placed in plat. Its very much real. I have swaped to alts multiple times as well resulting in me placing in higher elo's and stayed there on the new account when I couldnt rank up on my previous account

I have a question: so right now im bronze 2 on support. I won 6 outta 10 placement games (so i dont understand how i got there but that ain't the point). My problem now is that everytime i win a game i get about 8-12 percent progression depending on factors like expected etc. so for loosing a game its like -15 - -20... Also i wanna add that its not my skill that is holding me back or could be reason for such low progression since I'm literally carrying most of the time (sounds arrogant i know but hey i play juno so trust me an good ultimate can easily win a game). Is there anything I'm doing wrong? Like you gotta believe me that it aint a question about skill. I have like 170hrs now and on other roles i am way higher soooo yeah... If anyone knows if i can change anything pls tell me.

compared to Dotas workshop scene OW workshop is ass. You have intire functioning MMOs, whole game modes, intire new games in there with custom sounds, models, etc. Whilest you only get stupid bubbles as assets and very restricted code to work with in OW. Kinda wild if you think about the huge modding scene blizzard games used to have back in the day

All i gotta say is tf2 has no major update in 7 years and people still make good content. I honestly think you just aren't creative. Ive also seen creative overwatch creators.

Personally, I don’t think it’s that bad, especially when you compare it to like Fortnite, where most of the shorts are uncreative uninspired using other peoples audios it’s all brain rot. With overwatch the shorts are better in my opinion and overall content is better, but I completely understand where you’re coming from with how still con creation for overwatch has become, especially in the sense that most people who create overwatch content are PC players I love watching GS raider’s content

In reference to the One Punch Man collab, that's never coming back. At least, it's highly unlikely to. The anime company would have needed to make an absurd amount of money to justify that, and at that point they would have had everyone who plays the game having bought it anyway. And in reference to the lore issues, the entire story team is gone. That's why that's all disappearing.

Honestly, this feels poorly timed. Like your vid is really nicely done but I can tell you recorded before the Junkenstein labs event and before the OW classic announcement. Team 4 seems to be working on events a lot more these days and with a lot more care. The workshop is dead right now and that's just sad, I definitely agree with you ; workshop needs love. Same for the lore, we keep hammering on and on about it but it's tough not to when we can all see the potential that's been trashed. I don't agree about loot boxes though, i don't think they'd bring any more content to the game (aside from gamba vids, i guess but i don't think that'd be a good thing). As far as your premise goes, I think it's overly pessimistic; people watch the content they like and it seems they like what's being offered. I will say that I'd love to see some stupid workshop codes with friends and stuff but... workshop is what it is :/ . Anyway, even though I think most of your takes aren't great, I know you put care into this and that's always nice to see. I'm glad people are passionate about Overwatch, even if we don't agree on everything. Keep up the good work!

Overwatch struggles really badly with gaining new players. A vast majority of the playerbase is long-time players, but it seems they're completely fine with this. It's those long-time players that spend the most money regularly anyway. But this has the unfortunate side-effect of an age wave. Blizzard has no sense of self-preservation beyond the next quarterly report. They'll suddenly and very abruptly vanish as players all permanently stop at around the same time. This is their perfect opportunity to spend some extra effort to create content that can last. God knows they can afford it

Pretty bad take. If your argument made any sense then 99% of games would have bad content. You dont need new OW content to make good creator content lmao. All the best videos with the most views are not about newly released content. Payload zenyatta, all the parody songs, and heck, even froggers videos are prime examples of this. Its also ironic that youre just adding more fuel to the fire that is low effort boring contenr.

Bad take. You can cherry pick creators to support both sides of this argument. Many OW creators have been covering the same game for 8 years and are just bored of doing so. My content is never negative or doomer about the game, it has nothing to do with me or my personality, I don't make guides (I've made a few but won't be making any more), and they are unique ideas that often have not been done in Overwatch. The truth is, people want to watch Flats react or play a game of quickplay. He wouldn't be the most successful OW creator if they didn't. There's tons of great, interesting, and unique content to be made about Overwatch. It's on the creators to create that, not on Blizzard to craft some game mode that takes 6 months of dev time so we can make 2 videos about it. You only have guides and now, a video complaining on your channel. You're doing the exact thing you're complaining about. Innovate.

Me when i was in gold (somehow) on mercy solo queing with 58% dmg beam[on average] , 40+ assists and the least deaths (0-4) in every single match (and the most healing with 58% beam yes ik) .. i learned that dont play mercy in the new matchmaking system. Back then it wsd so easy to solo queue on mercy 2024 tips on solo queue supports: dont be a masochist and try to find someone (preferably a tank that doesnt int and WILL dive a widow if no one else will on winton) <<or just dont solo queue mercy bc shes bleh with dps passive>>
