I use a CNC and the panels are 3mm acrylic. A small end mill engraves all the text and lines and a larger one cuts the holes and the panel cutout. I clean it up to remove all the bits of plastic and then fill it with white acrylic paint. Squeegee it off, let it dry and use a mild abrasive cleaner to clear off the unwanted paint. Finally, I spray a few coats of satin clear spray. It's take a while to finalize that approach. I can understand that as it takes more time to do the case and panel work than the electronics and you just want to get on to using it.

It works well though I'm about to replace the Spring Reverb with a new design which alas doesn't have the feedback but I can use the dedicated Feedback module for this also.

Alas, it's a one off. It would be nice to make this a commercial product but the work needed to take it to that level is way beyond me. I wouldn't want to hazard a guess on what it would cost either.

@@amongstprojects3119 yeah mate the person who shared the vid pointed out it was a one off. It is a magnificent bit of creative engineering I bet you are very, very satisfied. Great video too, you really know how to pace and explain the delivery.

Thanks for the kind words. One of the background music pieces uses my Beat Step Pro. A current limitation is there is only one MIDI channel attached to the whole keyboard. One of my possible changes is to attach each of the four voices to a separate MIDI channel. There are no MIDI controllable parameters but this may also change. I don't think any project along these lines is ever truly finished 😁
