Yo bro, question, I just copped a c6 last month. I drove manual(ford ranger) for about a year for work when I was 19. My c6 is manual and I’m getting use to it again - I’m watching you down shift and you’re doing what I think I’ve been seeing called “rev matching”. Exactly what are you doing? When are you engaging the throttle/clutch to make that happen, just curious.

The stuttering/cutting out while acceleration could be caused by a boost leak, it has happened to me a ton of times

9:55 I don't recommend turning the car off right after doing a high boost pull. The turbo is still cooling down and when you shut if off that soon it's going to only have the oil thats currently in the cartridge. Usually when it only has a few milliliters of oil it's going to burn it up pretty quickly, like it will take the oil and evaporate it like when you go to top off oil in a hot engine and it blows a bunch of smoke out of the top

Hey man when I bought my c6 I had the same issue. I did what’s called double clutching to get the car into second. Never got it for downshifting but going from 1 - 2 just clutch in and come out of first then release the clutch when in neutral and then clutch in and pull into second and release the clutch. It’ll take some practice but you’ll get it smooth after a little while. It’s like push push there’s no pause if that makes sense. Good luck🤘🏻… also when I wanted to do a pull I would get into third then drop it into first and the just as I explained, double clutch into second then stomp on it!
