Boeing B747-400BCF - display fail reset and rerack
Переглядів 3,9 тис.Місяць тому
Hello everyone, This video shows a B747 faulty DU. The FIM recommends replacement, hut as there is no DU available at our station I opted to reset DU and check the back of the DU to see if cooling air inlet isn’t blocked by dust etc. After the reset, rerack and test DU operation went back to normal and signed book off with these actions. Note, if the fault is a hard fault the ND DU of the first...

Airbus A350-1000, what happens if one of the cockpit screens fails
Переглядів 3,2 тис.2 місяці тому
Hello everyone, here a video that show how the screens are rearranged when one of them fail. If one screen in the cockpit fails the aircraft can still be dispatched, or at least you can switch out the screen with a location that can be inoperative. All screens are the same part number, only at some screen location you may need to reload software for that location. Enjoy the video #aviation #com...

Business Class Seat Cover Replacement
It is interesting that the redundancy can save the situation only for failure of a single component; but, being everything (primary and secondary/backups) in the same place, if that place undergoes some kind of tragic event, … Wouldn't it be a good idea to place “nevralgic” system backups in some other bay, located in different part of the airplane?
Excellent video highlighting the inner workings of one of the worlds best aircraft. Thank you!
HEY GUYS CHRIS FIX HERE. today we're gonna be troubleshooting and repairing your very own Airbus A350 with nothing but common hand tools and a few tips and tricks.
Could not locate the engine controllers. Are they here or mounted with the engines or in this aviation compartments?
A flying datacentre. LoL...
Marvellous
Tu as l'autorisation de ton employeur, mec?
Thanks, now I'm all set to fix my A350.
I'd recommend calling a technician 😉
Where’s the transponder, in case I might need to turn it off mid flight
That is a secret 🤐
Sick sim you got there bro
Saudades quando o pirulito fazia uns vídeos assim. Se perdeu na internet kkkkk
These computers must use no microprocessors or old microprocessors if so, because to my understanding an airplane cannot run an operating system. So I'm guessing that the computers are analog and digital computers but no operating system
It’s all digital, any analog signals are converted. Then the signals are processed by the computers for controlling and monitoring the flight controls, engines, etc. the computers have processors and memory. So software is loaded into the computers so that they can do their specific tasks. Several packages of software are loaded into a box, a kind of operating system is probably in there, so it can run the software.
Who figured out all this shit? It’s well above my pay grade!
I'd call it the brain, the hydraulic pumps the heart, and the engines the legs. But I know it's just semantics. Great video! The redundant systems and multiple sensors and flight computers add to the number of boxes, but it's still a ton of stuff!
That's absolutely wild to see how many hydraulic lines there are. I can't imagine how difficult it is for apprentices starting out that have to learn all of this!
Only Left side Audio is working 😥
All three audio control panels work just fine, only on the left a mic selection was made.
@dennisvijverbergbrakesrele6098 I am talking about the Audio of this Video. 😊
Oeps
Saft
Its very interesting to see that all the equipment has quite distinct aesthetics event that it mounts to same rack standard. First I thought what a weird mess - but then as you progressed to have a bunch of equivalent CPIOM's, that are software defined universal blocks... now that is a mess to find when needed for replacement (but then, as you said, it can be easily reprogrammed)
Oh, I thought three iPhones for normal operation, one Samsung phone for alternate operation, and one Huawei phone for backup computing were all that was needed. 😂
That would do the job too 😉
Do you need a bicycle to go from one end to another?
HAL, open the door please.
K, MH370?
🤔
Does the plane have an operating system?
At least not a Microsoft one
Is this area pressurized?
Yes it is part of the pressure vessel
@ cheers for that! Is there ever a time during a flight that the crew would need to access?
If Teslas are a computer with wheels, then an Airbus is an array of computers with wings.
yep the a350 is one of the most complex aircrafts
I've flown many thousands of miles in 777s without any problems (that we were told about). Problem is, like any other aircraft manufacturer, every part is supplied by the lowest bidder. At least with a car, you may grind to a halt on the road, but in an aircraft..........
Of course cost is an issue in developing an aircraft. Don’t think they can cut too corners developing the B777
Great video. Super interesting. I know modern aircraft are as capable as they are complex (seen here). But what amazes me is how the industry gets away without flight engineers, even with designed redundancy. There is so much that can go wrong. 🤷
As many systems are now automated the flight engineer is just not needed anymore. But if to many automated systems should fail and pilots would need to do too many items manually the aircraft would become grounded, due to the increased workload of the pilots.
Background noise is so loud that speaker is barely audible.
Should rise the volume of the spoken section
I really appreciate this video, because it enlightens me on the different components and the intricate details that causes an airplane to stay in the air.👍
its little wonder why rival countries to the EU and US cannot make planes to this standard. the complexity is mind blowing
The industry has many standardized systems. For example standards like ARINC is an aviation standard used for data busses.
This is like a kind of videos where ones have fun and others are just watching 🙂
Very interesting 😮 I never see the avionics 👍🏻😃
Glad you found it interesting! 😄
And here we see Geordi again crawling in.. Jefferies tubes of Enterprise ! 😉😁🥰
😁
It's a mini data center,
Id love to what kind of networking and bus These all connect to. This is amasing.
looks more like a brain than heart
All in one then?
I saw some leaks and dirt on the floor. Can you comment this? For me it seems no good to see leaks in this bay.
The area isn’t 100% closed up from above, where liquid intrusion is expected you see shield above the racks and components, all lines with liquids are shrouded. But galley and lavatories are on top of it. Dust is almost impossible to prevent and area gets scheduled cleanings.
Happy days!
Amazing amount of stuff in there!
"You hope we found it interesting..."😲 Are you serious? It is A-W-E-S-O-M-E !!! 😍 Impressive engineering into the air.
Thanks
Is it really SAFE to show all this to the WORLD ... many bad people out there ...
This video gets especially mindbreaking if you consider that all of this gear travels upwards of 10 km in height at over 900 km/h
is there a million euro worth of computers in the avionics bay
This is worth many, many, many million euros.
Thanks You Dennis for sharing this video .. this is one of the most comprehensive video clips showing the heart of the A350 Airbus avionics and power systems ... it's like a complete company on-prem datacenter!
It’s nice that you appreciate the detail in the video!
Thanks for your sharing
Thanks for watching!
Wonder what the wright brothers would think 😮
They would say nit sure what all this stuff is for, but when are you going to show us the airplane?
Salve, io ho lavorato ai sistemi di terra per il controllo del traffico aereo, (Radar, Radioassistenze, ecc.) ma a bordo dell'aereo vedo che c'è qualcosa di veramente complesso. Bellissimo ed interessante video. Grazie.
Thanks for awesome video😊
Glad you liked it
show the Cummins diesel engines of that stupidass plane !
