This season has been quite unusual. Normally it starts snowing in mid December however this season it didn’t start until January and there has been very little snow fall.

It isn’t very likely. I would suggest Amsterdam for you specifically. I’ve heard the girls choose whether or not to allow you into their suite based on appearances at the door. Your chance of entry at slim to none. Similar to your twig-like legs. I wish you all the best.

Isn’t this the place where those soldiers froze to death in the early years of the last century? It’s the world’s worst alpine disaster; almost 200 souls lost their lives.

    • @John.Wilson

Yes, this is the place. At the top of the chair lift are pictures and a small memorial for that time.

@@John.Wilson Thank you. I thought so. The mountains aren’t very high by the standards of continental Asia or either of the Americas, but the Siberian High makes sure that the Sea of Japan side of Honshu and Hokkaido is strafed from November to April (or even May) with enormous snowfall totals. Sukayu Onsen is only around 3,000 feet or about 900 metres high, give or take a little, yet it receives an average of around 695 inches, or 1760 cm, yearly snowfall! Such incredible totals should give viewers an idea of the conditions here. And what was worse, after a period of intense blizzards the soldiers faced a record low temperature of - 41 Celsius, or - 42 Fahrenheit, as some clear skies brought in a massive low pressure system which saw the temperature drop even further late in the month of that fateful January of 1902. It’s a story that is every bit as poignant as the Scott Expedition tragedy.

I think this is your best video yet. I gave it a thumbs up. It would be nice to get a few more factual bits of information about each place you visited from an education perspective and when you say somethings great it would be nice to know why, for example: a breath-taking view, or the extra shot of whisky in the coffee. Maybe also a bit faster, and good job on filming and editing yourself but no need to tell us haha. Honestly though ur getting better at these.
