Ive watched a tone of these videos and this is one of the more realistic finishes i've seen! Well done. I personally like the thickness. If you want to reduce the weight you could do drop edges by sinking a 1 inch board thats slightly smaller then your form so its hollow bellow. Ive also head about people replacing some aggregate with pumice, perilite or vermiculite. The more you add the more the strength you lose but might be fine depending on the application. Anyway thanks for making this video!

Your work is incredible! I do similar work. A great trick to complete the whole finish is to take a small broken piece of grey concrete brick and rub it over the cured stucco; it knocks off the high points and makes the faux stones look tumbled, beat up and older.

Immaculate!! Simply stunning work! We are looking for something like this to be added to the back of our house. Wish you guys could do it! This looks like it really took no time at all. How long did it actually take? And how much does an add on of this size cost? Behind those French doors, I would be looking to put our new washer and dryer there on this level so mom wouldn’t have to keep going down to the basement to wash. At our home, this would be just outside our kitchen.

Quick question, at 20:13 where are you running your downspout from the 2nd floor? Is there a second downspout/gutter directing water to the ground or is the 2nd floor downspout sending water to the roof of the sunroom and water is exiting through downspout/gutter at the front of the sunroom? Hope this makes sense.

The reason you are having to wet the mix on the wall is due to one HUGE mistake. You MUST Saturate the scratch coat and the heavy it is, the MORE water it needs. If you do not, the TruPacX mix can get firm in 15 minutes. If the scratch coat is fully saturated, let any visible water droplets evaporate, then apply the mix and it will stay stampable for a couple hours. AND the Majestic Stamp you are using will actually work as intended. You will still need to clean up a couple lines, but the difference from what you dealt with here, compared to what it will be like with a properly prepared scratch coat will be night and day. This is another reason why you could not get any more than 2' to stick. Water in the scratch coat is what creates the suction with the TruPacX. Gotta be more consistent on your thickness whenever you stop 5 or 6 times like you did outside. It only takes a couple sections to trowel it smooth and plum, then restamp it. BUT, you were probably dealing with a firm product on the wall that would not allow you more than one time. I could go on, but I am sure you have learned from your mistakes already. Cheers!

Do you think chain link fence is okay to use as a mesh reinforcement for this stuff, I just took one down and it’s not rusted and feel like it could be salvaged for this, I also heard that using only Portland type 3 produces a black product that resembles quartz

Do I have the wrong product? How do you keep it from setting? Does the pac x gives you more working time? Please help. Thanks. Nice wall!

Approximately how much would the glasswork cost me? I'm going to start building my house soon and I was thinking of having a balcony right outside my master bedroom that I could later covert into a sunroom. Idk if I should just go with it while the house is getting constructed but Im already estimating to drop a good amount and I don't want to go over budget.
