ABT Firebird 1975
In 1975, American Ballet Theatre was on PBS "Dance in America with "Firebird." In 1979, I was in it at the Met with possibly the smallest part in ballet history. 12 guys with masks and spears sat in a room for half an hour then big groups of people were organized backstage to walk on at the very end. Shown here on the left is Leslie Brown. Cynthia Gregory was the Firebird. 4 years later Leslie was the Firebird. In this clip I found on YT, the people start pouring out and my group of six in the upper left corner is the last to enter. I was in the middle. 25 seconds of stage time before the curtain drops. We were paid $10 per show. They must have spotted my talent because they cut me out of the herd and called me on the phone to be in Swan Lake a few weeks later.

非日常的な、心休まる、バレエ団の舞台に、積年、生涯の趣味と決めてた、jazzの世界から、180度転換するに値する、美しく、品の良さ、穏やかな、心休まるバレエダンサー達と、それに係るスタッフチームが並々成らぬアイデア、工夫を凝らして全勢力を注いでる姿、生涯けてる姿には誰もが、感激、感謝、謝辞を、拍手、ブラボーと、大声出し、彼等を称え、励ます言葉を惜しむ事は無いでしよう。それからこの作品も、カメラワークも遠近パースプエクデブが良い作品です、昨今の、我が国は、礼節を忘れたのか安易な、お笑い芸人を有名人だと、称え合う風潮に、視野を拡げてくださいと言いたい、だが、しかし、先日の選挙戦の際、あるTV番組で、過去の選挙報道で、各局、権力側に偏る報道をしてた事の、疾しさをﾊﾟｱｾﾝﾄで示してた事、今後、其れ等、改めないと、若者たちに絶大な、人気のあるファンが、ユーチューブCHに期待を寄せてるから、今後、各TV局も、心新たにして偏向報道を改める、と、述べてた。若者の間では、大変、人気の良い、ユーチューブ様に、私も大いに期待する次第です、

CLASSICは女達のもの、男は、jazzだと70年間思ってたが、ユーチューブで、バレエ団員が軽やかに踊るバツクミユージック等を耳にし遥か昔、小学校音楽教室で手回し蓄音機を、先生が無理矢理に聞かせたCLASSICが脳裏に蘇り交響楽団の素晴らしさ懐しさ、と、ハーブ立琴、オーボエ、弦楽器、チェロ、コントラバス、フルート、バイオリン、テイパニー、どの楽器音もが脳裏に眠ってたそれぞれ、楽器の音は、私が拘ってた、jazzのSAX、トランペット、ピアノ、ドラムセット等、と、全く違った、音癖、音質、更には、切磋琢磨に訓練を積み重ね、鍛え抜かれた、バレエダンサー様達の鮮やかな、しなやかな身のこなし、訓練に訓練を重ねられた、品の良さ、に只々、尊敬の念、感嘆している次第、貴重な画像を拝見させて頂き誠に有難う御座いました。

His story and that of his family is sad. 16 was far too young to take control of a country, and there were many wily politicians around him, including Sir Miles Lampson. He never stood a chance frankly. Egypt would have been a very different country today had he stayed in power.
As yes -- Sir Miles "LEAVE that boy to me!" Lampson !! Just like his predecessor, Lord Baring, overbaring too. Even though he might not have stood any chance, still he did well in ways laudable. As he grew in maturity, he cut a fine figure as Royal head of state, at first being unsure of himself but, by-the-year growing. Until he died, Hassanein Pasha served as loyal advisor. 'Am not sure how he would have fared with- out him, in those early days of youth. At least Farouk benefited-so until six years before the end by abdication. You do realize that this year marks the centennial of the beginning of the Kingdom, no? It is a very important year.
Farouk was the classical child who superficially had everything, but was extremely emotionally abandoned. Too much power and too much little supervision doesn't help the mind.

This Swan Lake is very special one for me and glad that you showed us. There are so many variations and its so fun which one is Mazurka, Tarantela, and ppolka steps. A very artistic beyond our capacities 😱🤩
