1956 ford COE.
1956 ford.
Looks like a glass insulator to me.
Yup
Their nicknamed beehive insulators and this one has a spiral groove on it
Its probably a old timer grave
I actually think it's an oven of some sort.I found a few more of them with the openings on them to put wood and stuff in
I have a small collection my father was a lineman. He would bring the old ones home I have 2 Pyrex orange and one Amber glass plastic and black rubber . Blue ceramic and one like those brown ceramic you have there .
I just started Insulator. Hunting a couple of months ago, It's something that keeps me busy and gets me out in the places.I normally wouldn't go and exploring a bunch of new things
If the area your in allows it a metal detector would be interesting to use in those areas . Minelab is the best .
@@ronaldblackburn2483 That's my next toy. I plan on purchasing. There are a lot of areas that I've been coming across where structures used to be in the middle of the desert.
Minelab is the best .
But do you cash that out?
Lately, I have been, that's why my free play has been dropping down .It used to be $400 a week, but i've just been using my free play lately , so it keeps dropping down.
I wanted to see you build car from scratch and junk parts
From an old COE cab over engine
Where did you get the seat on the red one it’s so tuff
And also the bar end mirrors
6:09 That one has a really nice pigment to it!
Sad seeing a lot of broken stuff.
Those Hemingqueer 43s are pretty cool.
Hemig Gays lol
Yup LOL
@@adventureswithmojo2503 I'm more of a collector of power stuff, especially the old power stuff.
@@VariacManiac I just recently started collecting The Telegraph insulators, mainly as a way to get me out exploring different areas that I normally don't go
@@adventureswithmojo2503 They're cool too!!! I managed to get some telegraph insulators from Ohio & other surrounding states. Unfortunately up in Michigan & in my area, they got rid of all the old telegraph poles long long ago, but there are still some pieces here & there.
Looks awesome, want to do this with my girlfriend soon
Drive safely. Arrive safely.
the fact that you said “heming gay”😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yup, I thought people might like that LOL
Yeah, that’s the mother load😅
Cool find
thanks
Wow that’s a great haul for a weekend! You’ve found twice the amount of stars it took me to find in the past 3 years all in one weekend! Amazing!!!
Thanks. There are a lot more still there.I just ran out of room I'll be heading back out again in a couple weeks to pick up some more.
@@adventureswithmojo2503 That’s a great line you have there, have fun!
Are they collectables?
@@A1-GEM Yep. Some more than others
@@A1-GEM Yes, there are a lot of people that collect them. There's sort of a piece of railroad history and power lineman history. Some are worth more than others, but mainly the ones that you will find are common and not worth more than a dollar or 2 for me. I just like that. It gets me out into places that I normally don't go and see a lot of new things.
Such as life, but is that a lil dog by your ride? Bunky out. In the rain.... sweet stuff
IDK but just thought looking at this tie a dummie to the lampole with a crown thorns Next person omg jesus christ for crying out loud .
LOL
Whats the best one you have found?
I haven't really decided on a favorite yet. I just started Insulator hunting about a month ago , It gets me out exploring new places.
General Electric CD161.
Thanks, I was I was following a different set of tracks this weekend and they were quite a few star insulators, and some other ones that I hadn't found yet
I would have teken everything there… not kidding.
I don't know if that tank colour is standard where you are, but it looks great! Thanks for the super VLOG!
Do you have permission to take those insulators?
Really ? You were probably stuffed in a locker when u you were a kid.
LOL
A wins a win, lol. You're up🎉
Yeah I guess as you keep looking you will find more types. The one to the left looks like a U-294A while the one on the right looks U-297ish. Surprisingly, in the three years I’ve been insulator hunting, I have not once found a whole spiral groove beehive like the ones you have in the back. Only broken ones!
There's a place i've been going in northern Nevada off of interstate 80 that I have been finding those behind insulators at I will be heading back out there tomorrow and I'll be there Saturday and Sunday. Hopefully, I'll be able to pick up some more.
I saw 7 more insulators on top
There are a lot of insulators on I've just been collecting the ones on the ground For now.. It's mainly something for me to do and gets me out in the places that i've never been before
Strang how none of that glass has any dirt on them.
I used a long Pole to spin them off. I just didn't put them in the video because I don't know exactly how legal it is.
Thats a lucky find,I remember looking for them but I only ever saw them on a few poles ,and they where impossible to get to ( behind a security fence) etc My friend had a bunch from his dad who worked for the power company in the 60s. The internet changed alot you can buy as many as you want these days😅
I just started collecting them a month ago and when I started.I decided that I wasn't going to be buying any and only keeping the ones that I find.
Free butt plugs hell yea
Great job, very detailed explanation. I really like the style of this motorcycle customization.
How hard of an off road drive is it to get there? Which way did you go?
It's not hard at all.You could drive it on a regular car.Just avoid the rough parts of the road and make sure that it hasn't been raining. I provided a pin drop on Google Maps that you can look it up. maps.app.goo.gl/h1iSgK7Qt9NwAfyq5
Never have I ever spoke so much meth that I went insulator hunting in the desert in flip-flops
LOL, I'm originally from Hawaii, and I grew up going everywhere, barefoot or in flip flop. Because of that I sometimes end up in areas wearing flip flops. when I should have shoes on.
My dad had a collection or more than a 500, many very rare - which I sold for $2k . Please get a simple rig to hold your phone in Landscape mode - portrait mode DOES NOT work for UA-cam!
why would you even want that junk?
It's only a belt fix it and make a video of the process ‼️ that's content ‼️
The Bergman 650 doesn't run a normal belt. Just the belt cost anywhere between 6 and 800 dolland that's, if you can find one, they've been out of stock for a Long Time. And then in order to install it, the whole motor needs to be removed from the bike and split. And then after that, you have to go through the whole clutching system and everython. These bikes when the belt goes, the bike is basically done done. Because of how much money and time it takes to fix it. They're not worth it. The deal. Ers charge upwards of four thousand dollars for the labor just to give you an idea
COE truck
Thanks, I knew what it looked like, but I didn't know what type of truck they were called.
How much do the bigger tires affect performance? A lot of people complain about the tires just not being as big as the Trail125 and see it as a big downside, I'm just worried about if there's any trade-offs with these.
Two years ago, CN started pulling out all the telegraph poles, along the 160 year old main line from Hamilton to Niagara Falls. They left them in a big pile, and i took the opportunity to repurpose a lot of the insulators, the variety of colours was amazing! Now if i could only find a red one, lol!
I just started looking for insulators. Something to keep me busy and get me out into places that I know we don't go so far. The ones I've been finding our pretty common.
I lived on a farm outside of Dundas when i was a boy. Some old poles at the farm had green glass insulators. Brings back memories. That was about 40 years ago.
Yup, you pronounced it right!
Awesome, I was hoping I was.
Love the different shades if the green ones! I would love to find a red one!
This machine is dangerous. Always takes my money fast.
*Will sasso hulk Hogan impression voice* Yeah dude When you go outside sometimes you see wild animals, that's nature dude.
That's crazy, talk dude animals are only in the zoo dude. They're not in the wild. Come on, dude.
