R.I.P Ann Waychoff mother of the Nightwish Army. June 28th, 2020 This is your song. If you ever have to explain the Groove in Metal to someone - play this tune. Until the Breakdown hits you with a 10 ton hammer it is all fun and games. But then the slow chugging monster with the machine gun riffing takes over. And for every Metal Head this lights up the day. Awesome….Imho one of the best songs ever. Sometimes the sky is piano black…. Floor Jansen, First of Her Name, Queen of the Valkyries and Stonehenge, Lady of Nightwish and Protector of our Metal Realm. Long may she reign. Bow, mortal !

This concert is the first fully recorded one with Floor Jansen on vocals singing 14 songs written for previous singers and totally smashing them. That's why it's a favourite of most Nightwish fans except those few stuck in the distant past. There is a decent recording of Anette singing this live so if you can hear why all but her fans prefer this. And why this has 18m views plus the views to all the various reactors (easily found 1.8m).

And gave them some info about NW. This was her favorite song. And this song belongs to her. I like very much that Gabriel have continue Ann s work.... so her heritage is still here.

The Wacken 2013 set is the gold standard of Live videos for a number of their songs, particularly a lot of the ones written before Floor was part of the band! It's one of the big concerts that was filmed specifically to become a DVD release, which is why the quality is so high alongside the fact that the band performed a flawless set that night. It's also a massive moment in Nightwish history because it's the night that Floor really established herself as the new front woman of the band and won the hearts of fans.

Enjoying your enthusiasm. The correct speed note is because of Blu-ray. If you upload from Blu-ray it evidently ends up about 6 % slow. Something to do with the way the files are set up but not sure of the details.

They have beautiful deep ballads sir. One is just released, Thuomas wrote it for his father who passed away recently. It’s not a sad ballad, it’s about celebrating life and cherishing memories. It’s called lantern Lights, and is performed with a full orchestra from London. They always work with Nightwish. So the classical instruments you hear in their songs are recorded and performed by really awesome musicians and a choir.
