I have been using the "Snowline Technical Mountain Gear" cleats, which are light to carry around, but if you carry spike shoes that are heavy and heals are ache. So ,I use Snowline cleat. You can order from Ali express similar items and reasonable price and quality.

I was using the number 2 running sinker , and the sinker can vary depending on the swells. Sometimes, this way is more chance to catch the Drummers rather than using the float, vice/ verse.

I have been using a variety of Iso rods. I have been using Silstars , Banaxs, and Shepherd and Daiwa Short power Iso rods from 3.3 to 5.3m long I never had problems.

You can check on DPI , there is no size for leather Jacket but I prefer to catch over 25cm.

Main lines can be 20 lb on wards, but I prefer 30 lb trace line . I try to use a little more strong lines because sometimes I get busted by bigger fish , try to avoid that.👍

Hi, I usually use simple set-up and rig. I was using Saltiga 1333xh rod with a 6000XH Saltiga reel with 50 lb pe main line and 3 metres 50lb mono shock leader ,with size 8 ball sinker with 80 cm 40 lb bottom trace line with the hooks. I hope this helps you. Cheers

It is good to go when Swell is not too high, between 1m to 1.4m high, and not much wind blow 10 to 20 km/h max. Location of fishing places are important, do not go to the dangerous place!!!. I usually go and fish early in the morning, before sunrise, and high tide around 8 between 10am. I started fishing around two hours before high tide and also two hours before sunset. When it is low tide, I start to catch drummers, Black fish, breams stc. This is how I fish, some people do different ways, this is only advice. I hope this meet you required . Yes, it is stupid rules. Last year , I was fishing at Botany Bay Kurnell, I caught some regal fish. When I was coming out, the Fishery Ranger asking me to see what I caught, so I showed to them but they said fine, I showed them the bag and explained what they were. I had to fillet the fish, otherwise getting too heavy for my backpack. More stupid rules came out last week by recreational fishers. We can not catch Gropers by fishing lines because of that stupid idiot guy caught the Groper by spear fishing Cronulla. R.Fishers are trial for 12 months.

Yep! I used to fish there a lot, decades, too! On Saturday, I was going to fish there ,but there were higher swells 🌊🌊🌊 on Saturday , than Northern side
