Calm down It’s just a guide demo to flush out the arrangement .. The Guitar Work does sound Fucking Awful mind🤦♂️ 🤣😆🤦♂️🙄🙄🙄🤦♂️🤷♂️🐒
Not good. Thank God Liam sang this! 🤣
I think Noel has a great voice. He’s not quite singing probably because it’s a guide vocal on a demo but I do prefer his voice to Liam’s. Don’t get me wrong Liam has a wicked rock star voice which is unmistakable, but i do prefer the smoothness of Noel’s voice.
He shines acoustically!
Nah
Way too slow
1.25 speed.
If you cant tell this is noel thats worrying
Noel Gallagher is playing drums on this.
This tune is definitely more suited for Liam's voice. However, I can't believe what an excellent singer Gem is. Wonder why he's never done his own thing.
He did. His band pre-Oasis was called Heavy Stereo
Gem 💎 yaz scfc man Taz roller u gem Taz scfc 💚💯🐅
What guitarbis that?
A Gibon Firebird Non-Reverse with P90 pickups
The writing credits are Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Liam Gallagher, but if this is an early demo, it seems like Gem just straight up wrote it.
It's just a publishing agreement. I imagine they shared the publishing of whatever song no matter who wrote it. In stark contrast to Oasis... Noel musth ave made more than 5 times what Liam made from Oasis.
This sounds like an old cassette tape that is dragging from wear
This is a fucking great song. I’m going on Spotify now. Nice one Gem!
Thanks for the upload. I may speak for myself, and others, when i say i love this recording.
I don’t know how I knew but I knew he covered this song
Instant Karma anyone?
Bob Dylan?
As great as this sounds, it seems edited.
A cross with the Small Faces and a bit of Tumbling Dice ?
Not even close
To be serious? It's really hard to say who did it better 😁
(As Robert Evans) Keep it up bubbe. This could big, baby. Real big, but we need some real drums and production to make it real big.
This is definitely Noel. The only thing that’s confusing me is this version sounds slightly different in places to the official release (ie Noel saying d’reckon we’ll be able to do it or what?, also some guitar parts, then the ending. I wonder if the official release was edited to sound more like the final released version?
This must be the 3rd demo as i've heard the other 2 i've heard is Noel and his acoustic guitar during a soundcheck in Japan and the other one he recorded in Wales using The Verve's gear as they had the day off.
@@jaggass oasis had a habit of releasing things with false details of venue etc. Having just listened to both demos again I’d say the official release was recorded using the verve’s gear and it sounded much more like the final version, I just think they took the first part (talking before the song starts) from this Maison Rouge demo and edited it in before the song starts on the official release?
@@alexedge5265 The final wasn't recorded using The Verve's gear as Noel presented that demo to the rest of Oasis who then re recorded it and played it much faster. However the demo at Noel recorded in Wales sounds better than the final version.
Gem should have taken over singing in Beady Eye
I can't understand, is this Noel or not?
It’s Noel, I was previously misinformed. This is the original demo. What you have on the japanese import is Noel’s re-recording of parts using the Verve’s equipment to have something credible for the japanese CD. That’s the leading theory anyway. This version is structurally very different from that version
Hola, en mi canal tengo un cover del Solo de esta canción por si a alguien le interesa.
Hello, on my channel I have a video cover of the solo of this song in case anyone is interested.
This is way better than the beady eye version.
lyrics are garbage
Voice better than Liam.
Uh, no
I like the High notes , but he doesn’t hit them live.
Is this Gem doing a liam/lennon impression? He should go on Stars In Their Eyes!
He has a bit of a nasally voice like that. Check out his band Heavy Stereo from the 90s if you want to hear some more of how he sings. I don't think he's trying to imitate Lennon and especially not Liam.
Way too Beatles
Here you go mr Gem got it too 😎
Nice cover of 'All You Need Is Love'...
exactly my thoughts
Sounds nothing like it in my opinion.
You mean Instant Karma
sounds alot like instant karma
It’s noel
His voice is great but Liam’s on this tune is just awesome. Just the “can’t” in the beginning from LG gives me the shivers!
Liam is superb on this track and no other bloke could ever sing it like Liam! Love Gem though 😍 💖
Sound like John Squire when sing
Very Heavy Stereo
Love you Gem
Noel has been showing Gem how to steal songs.
What do you mean?
@@willyc.8141 Well Willy, Gem is a close associate of Noel Gallagher - With Noel being a serial song-thief, and this song sounding exactly like Instant Karma (by John Lennon), we have to surmise that Noel showed Gem how to do it.
@@craigfalconer8699 classic deduction there
@@craigfalconer8699 and what? If songs inspire you to.write songs like those whats the problem if everyone was able to do that we'd have more great rock tunes nowadays instead of the pop shit we're stuck with
@@M.Studios. Don’t overlook the legal aspect of stealing songs (Noel has been caught a few times with this, which is why Neil Innes is credited on one of Oasis’ biggest songs). You do also remember the Blurred Lines court case from a few years ago?
Terrible impersonation.
Who is the singer?
Gem Archer
Man I hated the first beady eye album. Second one was better
Are you kidding? The Morning Son, Wigwam, The Beat Goes On, Kill for a Dream Tonight, Millionaire. The Roller was a great tune as well
you deaf
@@willyc.8141 Agreed. Its a brillaint album man. Couple of duds, i dont like Beatles and Stone. Four Letter Word is an absolute banger! Liam should play it in his solo shows
The first one was super awesome!!! The second one was eh
@@agustinorellano8266 🤣for real!
Wouldn't have minded Gem singing the odd Beady eye song
Or Andy. Couple of tracks fitted them really well especially on be when liams voice was just dull. I love love the songs on that album, just alot of the vox let me down. Mainly production issues I think. I’m not smart when it comes to that but liams voice just seemed unedited. Like no echo or any layering or anything. Just seemed compressed and like a vocal track thrown on top of the song. Didn’t seem like one unit of that makes since. Soul love for example. One of my favorite songs but just mixed weak. Liam singing it live last year made me want that album reproduced or re recorded one.
Is this a Rutles tune?
Beady eye
@@ellissharpe3916 sounds like the Rutles lol.
@@benjic80 I think it sounds way more like Lennon solo...'Instant Karma' I think the tune is called. But I get The Rutles too..
@@brazenlilhussy5975 yeah it does sound like John 👍
This is a demo. Gem Archer made this tune during his time in Oasis, along with a couple other demos he wrote. Pretty he sure he does all of the instruments and vocals but with Noel Gallagher on drums.
This is one of my favourite decorating songs along with roll with it.
Decorating song?
@@BackToBackJames paint rolling
Roll It Over
Paint it black.
I like it
Kinda sounds like John Lennon
Yep..instant karma.
Lovely Gem, great song
Cringe worthy.
@Vale anything football related work for you? Amateur more like it yeah....can sort that.
How is this cringeworthy?
@@BackToBackJames I'm cringing with just how awful it is, How unoriginal it is and how it's been made to sound so much like a John Lennon track. There's being inspired by something/someone and there's just trying to sound exactly like them. I don't get that and struggle to see how they would think it sounds good and not like a rip off of anything else. We hear it, they surely do as professional musicians.
@@arronhughes6393 Are you a fan of Oasis?
@@BackToBackJames I am indeed.
Instant Karma's gonna get you...
Direct rip off indeed...
