Played this shit out of this game back in the 90s, completed it and played it a lot with mates on two player. Other less well remembered games from that time we played were Pandemonium 1&2 and Nightmare creatures, all to completion. By 98/99 i was more into PC games.

JetMoto2 was the goat. I used to shed that game. Never thought it was too difficult, winning a race was pretty ez in retrospect.

I loved this game - loved the environments, the tricks, the sense of freedom. EDIT: also forgot to mention there was a PC port as well.

Havnt played ps for 10 years and if i remember right,i'm stuck near the beginning of 2nd disc parasite eve 2, with some damn goat!

I had this back in the day and used to really enjoy it. From what I remember, it was very easy and short though in that it could be completed in maybe just over an hour. Have good memories of it anyway. I actually bought it again about a year ago so will definitely check it out again sometime. I'd be keen to play through the N64 version as well to see if it's any better graphically than the PS1 game seen here. Not sure if I ever will however as that version tends to only pop up on eBay occasionally and is pretty pricey.

This is a very good game indeed, very challenging. The N64 port for me, it's the best way to enjoy it. No loading and great textures and lighting effects. Congrats about the video and channel.

Underrated Game

wasn't a fan of this game. Maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance, but I just failed to get into it.

He mentioned movie games at the start with alien trilogy at the start of the vid which is cool but the same people that did this also did die trilogy for ps1 which was awesome and if you had the konami lightgun you could play through die harder with it but you'll need the old crt television of course.

Penny racers have banger OSTs. That alone really worth your time

I've only learned of Tank Racer through the demo that was included on Euro Demo 44 that I downloaded from the internet back in late 2009, when I was searching for a demo disc that had Retro Force included as a playable demo that I desperately wanted to play and see again after having played it on PlayStation Zone CD Vol. 4 back in March 99 and having lost it since. I find it very weird that despite being multi-language in-game, and having been given a USK rating prior to its "supposed" German release, it only saw a release in like the UK and Spain, as it did not receive a widespread Europe-wide release unlike most PlayStation titles released for the PAL region, and even the other titles released by its publisher Grolier Interactive, hence why I never knew and heard about the game, in German magazines or even in the PlayStation Zone demo discs that had encyclopedias of games released around the time of their discs. The PC version though did get a release in Germany, as I saw a copy of it at a thrift store one day, which I did not pick up though.

Yes, Blood Omen is on the PlayStation, but _do not_ play the PlayStation version. The loading times are up to 7 seconds long, every single screen change. The PC version is overall an improvement in almost every way.

I remember I also had a friend who left this at my house and I wound up playing the shit outta it. And I remember being blown away that there was so much violence and mature humor in it but somehow… it was rated K-A!!! It clearly slipped through the ratings process because someone saw just the simple early game stuff and didn’t realize how raunchy it got lol

man this games is a nightmare and control is really sucks and it has one of the worst dynamic camera angles....

Didn't talk about the controls, the story (or lack thereof), the development or history of the game, or individual courses or what made the game's design unique. It would be good if you went a little more in depth with these videos unless your goal is to just say, "Hey remember this? This existed. Here's video of it."

Looks a lot like the game Burning Force which I had on my Japan-imported Mega Drive as a kid (yeah, had generous parents). Check that game out by the way, best rail shooter on the Mega Drive bar none.

2 things i like about this other than what was mentioned... The lack of in-game music which i prefer, and the improved car sounds. I always went for either the Audi A4, Ford Mondeo, or Volvo S40 to hear the best car sounds in this iconic game

The AI on the PS1 version is brutal. Difficult to play. I've heard the Japanese version doesn't have this problem.
