    I got the gas vesion which isnt sold anymore and have to say it IS the best bbq i have ever owned or used, zero hot or cold spots, massive temperature range control just cooks beautifully. I did buy a Weber Q, and hated it soo much, i literally put it out on the street for someone to take. Anyway the gas version also has wooden handles, they do get hot but not as bad as the plastic ones. Highly recommend the gas apparently you can use it without gas if you want and use charcoal or even but a propane bottle and screw that in. Anyway, amazing bbq.

    Hi there, i have one of those, but when i use one burner at the time, it is nice and high and boils water quickly. However when i put the three burners on, the flame become lower and they take ages to boil water, is that the case with all of them or only mine? Could i have faulty regulator?

    Since your video was recommended, I figure I better leave my little story. Recently I went looking for some liquid gas stoves and lanterns. This was to show my young Nieces and Nephews how I camped when I was their age. I was able to get a Brand New in the box Coleman 413 2 Burner stove from 1988, for only $50 locally. Then recently on eBay I won the bid to get a working Lantern from 1972 for $7.50 and a working Coleman 424 Dual Fuel stove from 2014 for $30. Pretty good buys.

    Hey, I'm just curious if you only used petrol in this? A lot of owners are saying that you should only run white gas and save the petrol / unleaded for emergencies (or use white gas every 3rd tank as its supposed to clean the generator) as it clogs up the generator. I'm wanting to buy one that's why I'm asking, just trying to do my homework before I buy Do you still use this stove btw?

    Hey mate, I have one of these, and when I adjust the dial down to the lowest possible temp/flame, the knob automatically springs back a little - making it too hot to cook some things. So can't cook at a lower temp. The who thing runs pretty damn hot and often burns things. Do you find this? I've heard other people saying the same thing. Thanks, Simon.

    Also have a brand new 533 running with coleman fuel. But on high power I always have a good amount of yellow flames in it. Also blue, but would say 30% yellow. No matter if the generator is heaten up and the amount of pumps. On low setting it is nice an blue. Can it be, that it is because of the tank is low on fuel? Or doesnt that play a role?

    • @gravyboatcookingandcamping9930
      @gravyboatcookingandcamping9930 Рік тому

      Not sure mate, I find that the higher it is the more yellow flame but nice blue on low aswell. I don’t know if the amount of fuel in the tank plays too much of a role other than taking more pumps to prime

  • @johnsmithfakename8422
    @johnsmithfakename8422 Рік тому

    Coleman fuel (white gas) Is very pure gasoline (the stuff that comes out of the pump), but the compatibility with gasoline engines is non-existent. Pump gas has a lot of additives that do a lot of useful things, but they also give it a short shelf life. Coleman fuel (white gas) has an octane rating of around 50, pump gas starts around 90. Octane is resistance to ignition so if you use Coleman fuel in your car it will knock. White gas, if properly sealed, can last over 10 years, while pump gas need fuel stabilizer to last more than a few months.

    better to run it on shellite, it can run on petrol but it will clog faster and i dont think the components last as long. coleman camp fuel is just shellite but they put some rust inhibitor in it and i think 1 or 2 other additives to make it burn a little bit better you don't need to pump it while it's warming up, in fact you can overpump it and the seals won't last as long, you can pump it while it's going if it's been on for a while and the pressure is getting a bit low because the tank is emptying, but you should only really need to pump it up before you light it, between 30 - 50 pumps (35 - 45 is what most people find works well) and once you have turned it off, release the pressure, if you store it pressurised, that also lowers the lifespan of the seals.

    Fantastic setup love it. Definitely want some of the things you have added. We just had our Jayco Journey Outback Pop Top written off due to the floor moving. We had it from brand new 2016 and had finally got it the way we wanted it. The only thing I always said I would change is to have solid top, Washing machine and Oven so even though our van is repairable we bought the van back sold it to our son to repair. We have purchased a Jayco Starcraft Outback 2016 which has some mods like lithium batteries and inverter. I hate the upholstery so that will be our 1st mod and another diesel heater will be next. Hopefully this will be our forever caravan. Can't wait to pick it up next week and make it ours.
