Aaargh! I really want to join USMC force recon! But I'm 8000+ miles away!
Bat recon doesn’t go to free fall only force recon does
Yea, the Recon Marine NCOs today say the Basic Reconnassance Course (BRC) was twice as hard as Army Ranger School with the water requirements. The Army guys don't understand that shit unless they passed their own Special Forces Underwater Combat Dive School, Key West FL
It's so dumb that force recon isn't considered sf and ranked in the sf tier list even though they have more capability and flexibility than ranger batts. Also, they still conduct amphibious raids and direct action so they deserve the name raiders more than marsoc, marsoc is still badass, but even like nick C said, they're more like gb.
I enlisted in Marines and graduated from Naval Academy. I hated the water, even if it was just a damn pool. These gents got it going on. That big old ocean is something else, altogether.
Wish i would’ve never quit it haunts me to this day
What got you?
Why did you quit?
@@2WorldWar2 living out in the field and just being miserable. These videos gave me so much motivation but it’s different than actually being out there doing it.
@@jordandelmonico being cold, tired, wet, dirty, and in pain just sucks especially when you know there’s always the option to go back to your comforts. This was when I was 18 and I hated it but I think now as a 28 year old I should’ve stuck it out and see where life would’ve took me
Get some
baddest of them all
Anybody here go to sere and can still listen to with no problem the song played at the end of this video ??
IM THE 333'TH VIEWER
If it gets any crappier than BRC, let me know. CAG where ya at?
But did they steal the 33 area stop sign after graduating?
Oh nice !!! Bro there are so many stop signs littered all over 33 area. We were spy rigging over 33 area and all over all you could see were stop signs. Damn…. Good times swift silent deadly Jesus Saves !
Can’t wait
LAR-V baby!
Anybody else think that this got commercial potential? 😂😂

@@peleclipse6672 how does a recon contact work do you go to boot camp first?
@@peleclipse6672 Any tips to prepare for recon?
@@emmanuelawosusi2365 Im not in recon, im an 0311, but I have a friend who’s currently in BRC. If you want to hear tips from me, I would recommend to learn to comfortable in water, deep water. Be comfortable swimming, and learn how to be proficient at it. Another thing is have very good endurance, because the ruck runs will be brutal. Familiar yourself with knots, and learn how to tie them. It’s always a good thing to have a head start on them before you go in because you will be tested on them. Also, if you have the chance, learn land navigation. Learn terrain association, as well how to read a map and compass. You will be TESTED HEAVILY on land navigation. The final thing is to have the will and the mentality to not quit, and to keep pushing past your limits. Be humble, and good luck dawg.

Background music is to loud to hear the convo’s .
Marine boot camp > SOI > RASP (should have advanced water survival by now) > Recon screener > BRC > Airborne > Combat Diver> Recon/Scout Sniper School > SERE > JTAC > Team Leaders Course Other optional schools like Ranger school or military free-fall, HIRST Master, Army schools like pathfinder. Lots of training/schools in the pipeline among all phases.
Nice
Cool why
Combat Hunter, Urban Recon, Pathfinder, and Designated Marksman should all be part of the Recon pipeline...other than that the changes they made in recent years to BRC have been pretty good.

MOTTO AS FUCK! My boy coads was in this class.
I'll always remember the Recon guys on my first MEU in 03 to OIFx1. I volunteered to do a field op/working party with them playing the role as the "enemy" watching those guys train, in the kill house, jump/parachute in, and then come breach combat town and kill us will be one of my coolest USMC memories, some were cocky dickheads, but most were cool ASF they'd always on ship hey are we playing HALO tonight lol! We'd link like 5 Xboxes. good times
