Ruby Retreat Farm House Holiday Home Walk through Bolenowe Troon Camborne Cornwall TR14 9JA
We stayed at Ruby Retreat and had a fabulous time. This stunning 300 year old stone built farmhouse is located in a secluded hamlet, with fantastic scenery and best of all, we took our three bull terriers with us to enjoy romping through the quiet Cornish lanes. The countryside is truly good for taking you away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We are very grateful for being able to experience country life and meeting all the lovely people. Jeff is a real character and a guy we will never forget. We will be back again very soon. Thank you for our wonderful holiday with you and your friends and of course your amazing hospitality.
WIFI and Mobile Reception Excellent.
Huge variety of wildlife, hens, geese and ducks and of course Madam Crumpy (Jeff's gorgeous bull terrier)

How to Remove Warts, Growths and Skin tags with nail polish / varnish
Переглядів 32 тис.6 років тому
We have been using nail varnish to remove warts and growths for over 50 years. I used it when I was a child and saw the results for myself, and have been using it ever since. It has proven to be a very effective method in the removal of warts, skin tags and skin growths, shutting off the air supply and causing apoptosis (cell death) in skin growths. The acetone, aslo known as (dimethylketone) i...

    My cocker has a horrid growth just above his eye which was meant to be removed in surgery alongside a growth in his ear. I’m not happy with the vet as they didn’t want to remove it as it’s close to the eye (about a cm above the eye). Now they are saying they can do it but want to charge me the same all over again to put him back under anaesthetic. He’s 13!!!! I’ve made a complaint to the vets as it should have been as planned originally whilst under gif the other op but they have the surgery tk the wrong vet ie not the one we had the consultation with who said he could do it!!!! She told me not to tie around it as it’s close to the eye. I worry about it hurting him and I’m not sure I’m confident to do it. It’s big and it keeps bleeding.

    2024: This worked amazing! I can't thank you enough for this video our girl is 14 yo shorkie cross and they won't put her under for dental even and to remove the large growth on her neck. I used cross stitch thread, took about 2 weeks (I didn't rush it) just helped it along by cutting any hairs along the edge that would get stuck in it so it could scab properly in the end she scratched it off by herself entirely unbothered and it just went flying and we celebrated haha

    This is the most beneficial video I’ve seen! Thank you so much for this! My old boxer is 13 and had a tumor gone too big because I didn’t know what to do. Yes, it was bothering him. Followed the instructions and used cotton embroidery floss which was perfect. I was alone and began when the deaf dog was sound asleep. Of course it hurts to tourniquet it off and the thing was big. Don’t wait till it’s big- more surface area to stop the blood flow from. Got the job done. A few days later noticed that the tumor was too red- getting too much blood, so did a second tourniqueting which was necessary. Still, 5 days from initial tying- tumor all gone!!

    After successfully doing this on our 13 yr old ridgeback dog with a balloon like lump on his paw it shrivelled up to size of a raisin. As we were quoted $1200 from vet to surgically remove what was deemed to be harmless lump thought we'd give this method a go. He actually chewed it off and ate it though. Now I am worried that it might be harmful to him as must have swallowed thread and all. There is a small wound where lump was that I am keeping clean with antiseptic and wound cream. Is he likely to have any ill effects from eating growth? Has anyone else's dog ate the lump? Keeping a close eye on him and will take him to the vet if he seems unwell. But he seems quite happy now the annoying lump is off his paw. So glad that I saw this video.

    • @dianahill3848
      @dianahill3848 2 роки тому

      @@daisyjimenez563 didn't seem to hurt him at all . After it fell off or he ate it, kept the area clean with antiseptic, covered it manuka honey ointment wrapped foot in bandage and sock which I changed every day for a few weeks. Now it has completely healed fur has grown back and wouldn't even know that there was ever a lump there. It took a week or two for lump to shrivel up and fall off and few more weeks to heal completely. Baxter is happy, he didn't have the stress of going through surgery and we saved a lot of money.

    Well after almost a year of watching a growth form on my dog and grow at a fairly rapid pace we took him into the vet. The vet saw the growth and said since it has separated from the body and was hanging like a punching bag it would be an easy procedure. That being said it was going to cost a few grand to have the procedure done. After a lot of debate and watching this video probably 100 times we decided to tie off the growth. We used waxed, unflavored dental floss and tied the knot until it was extremely tight and then tied a second knot to ensure it didn't loosen up. Within a few hours the growth turned purple, by the next morning it was purplish black and the tied off portion was swollen and the skin on the growth looked tight, but the skin on his body just had a slight redness and he wasn't experiencing any pain in the area. The next day the growth seemed to crack open and drain some fluids, and then it started to shrink in size. After 5 days the growth was rock hard and jet black, and upon inspecting it to see if the dental floss had loosened up the growth fell off in my hand. The whole time we kept the site clean and made sure to clean it with hydrogen peroxide and top it with neosporin max pain relief. The dog never was phased by the entire process and seems to have a new burst of energy and a new zest for life now that his growth is gone. I would definitely recommend this process and will utilize this technique again in the future if necessary. Whether you have an old dog who can't go under, or a middle aged pup and you don't have the financial means necessary this is the method. Even if I had the funds I'd still use this process. Quick, easy, painless, and almost entirely free.

      My dog has the exact same thing as you describe, its a huge growth hanging quite low from her belly by a small piece of skin. It was about the size of plum, slightly bigger. Tied it off 2 days ago, and today the smell is permeating. Its black and shriveled but still secreting fluid. Im sooo nervous about this, your experience is encouraging.

    • @Supernova749
      @Supernova749 2 роки тому

      @@carlyyork8568 just keep checking the site and keep it clean with hydrogen peroxide and top it with neosporin max pain relief. The smell is normal as the growth is now dead tissue. Make sure that the knot is extremely tight, I've read where people have had to retie or tighten the knot during the process. As long as the knot is tight and the site remains clean all will be fine. We were very nervous at the same stage you are in now, but it all turned out perfect in the end. We are actually getting ready to tie off another growth our pup has developed on his chest using this same method again because it is so effective. The spot where the previous growth was is now a tiny scar that you can't even see unless you are right up on him looking for it and even then it's not very noticeable. Either way I wish luck to you and your pup!

      @carlyyork8568 2 роки тому

      @@Supernova749 Thank you so much for your reply! It actually came off last night, on only day 3! Like I mentioned the connective tissue was very small for such a large growth. I did soak the removal site in peroxide and it's healing now. I am sooo relieved. She is a dogo argentino and is too aggressive to bring to the vet. So this was a really big deal. I can't believe it is completely gone... Good luck with your next removal, and thank you for your re-assurance!
