Usually the other trainers speaks about the areas and lsa types and then shows what happens when you use them. Here you went from the design perspective of what we want to achieve and how to do that, which made the topic intuitive and easy to understand. You're a great teacher.
Where can I get a job administering a single OSPF area? 🙂 Nah, seriously, this is a fantastic video...would have taken a lot of reading to gain this level of understanding.

So many gold nuggets within this 30 minute video. Took me almost 4 hours to complete watching this video as I have to pause many times, think, and take down notes. Best "OSPF area types" video explanation so far.
I have a doubt, in NSSA we are blocking LSA4 and 5 and not injecting any default route to reach E1/E2 routes, then how the router in Area 3 will reach any of the external routes.
Hi Narbik, thanks so much, what a great explanation. I hope that you might also share in details how those route are being flooded back and fourth in the domain.

Amazing video, but doesn’t the NSSA have the translators which translate type 5/7? And vice versa? Its based on RFC 3101 and 1587.
Yes, they do. And once they do, they become an ASBR.

More volume please.
Then which is the one which supports LSA type 4 and 5.
valid question . backbone area or any standard area doesn't block type 4 and 5. Because these Area types are not stub by nature.
Wow this is good. I would love to take his course.
