Lots of videos showing how to rekey these (schlage depths -1) but I haven't found one demonstrating this technique which I use to preserve the caps on these very annoying cylinders. You can buy the caps from various sources but they're $2 ea and I don't carry them on my truck. This has worked for me every time.

I did it myself. Forgot how now tho, used to be a guide for that but the OG APP died a few years ago and I sold my G2 (didn't like it as much as the OG)

How to key with no renter key?
When no renters key is available it's a much different process that will require professional service. If the box is closed, it has to be picked open (and then it can be reset) or drilled open and replaced. If it's open it is possible to reset but requires taking the lock off the door and taking it apart. Again, not something bank personnel will want to attempt (which is who I made this video for)
Thank you for your reply. I was rekeying my lock. And made some sort of error and now the old key nor the new key will open lock. Bummer!

Hey Darin, the kit I ordered was 12"(z), 16"(y) and 30"(x). I shortened the z axis scale to an undefined length (about 2" longer than the total travel of the z axis, which is 6").

I’ve never used fdrs can you give us a walk through on how to reflash a module if there’s an update for the pcm?
This has been over a year, but a reflash would be downloading and running the Configuration app for whichever module you needed to 'reflash'. This reprograms the module using AS-BUILT data. If you want to update a module, you will download and run the Software Update app for whichever module you wanted to download. If there is no software update available, then that module is at its latest software level.

Can you list the software and hardware interface that is needed . I couldn’t pick up what you said on the video .
hardware is an Autel J2534 interface. Software is Ford FDRS. You can download FDRS on a subscription basis ($50 for 2 days), it's something of a pain to get running as you have to set up a couple of different accounts but not too bad. don't have to use the Autel interface, it's just what I had. J2534 is a pretty generic interface, just make sure your computer has the correct drivers for whatever one you choose.

@@lockmedictn sir, if i want to connect multiple panel to a server using switch, which kind of ethernet cable should i use?? Crossover or straight through ?? I also cannot connect my panels if my pc is set to dhcp mode.i connect my pc and panels to a switch.
@@baasha3230 CAT5/6 is fine. Straight thru if connected to a switch. I have never attempted to connect directly from panel to PC via ethernet without using a switch/router handing DHCP.. Presumably crossover cable would work but that arrangement is less than ideal.

Good explore! I worked in hosiery mills for many years before most of them went belly up. That was the boiler room at the beginning of the video. I'm guessing that after the mill closed, the building was leased for storage of the old gaming machines.
