I cant believe my favorite podcasters are back!!
Sick bro👍
That’s a cool Optimus prime😃

Great video!
Awesome video!
Great video!
Great video, I need that kind of vibration in my life what an easy work out😂
Wow this is trippy!!!!!
Oh my goodness you like that dude with the remote I forgot what his name was
The hacked Vita is my goto for playing my favorite Ys games. Even Ys VIII Laceimosa of Dana feels better on the system than it did on Switch. Its crazy how many great games were actually on that system. It was a legit handheld system.
Its amazing, It's basically what i want out of handheld pcs. Something slim that can handle AAA titles and AAs.
I enjoy my vita. Had mine since launch. I got a 1tb using sd2vita, about 80gb free.
The collection is immaculate. 🤌🏾
This was such good information!
Idk who this guy is but I like his style. More content plz!
Where's the Sega Gamegear?
Its coming lol.
They look cool
i love the vita i use mine alot
I agree its a cool device I hope we get something like it again.
For the algo
I do voiceovers with high gamma microphones, like the Neumann u87 and the Sennheiser mkh416, I also have a Shure sm7b, but I bought the 2 presonus revelators, the Condenser and the Dynamic and since I have them, I record everything with them and my clients are happy with my work, in the same way that when I record with the u87, remember this old saying "it's not the arrow, it's the Indian" yes You are incapable of achieving a good sound with the Revelator, I consider that you were not born for this and the bad thing about the networks is that anyone tries to make podcasts or videos talking and giving opinions about things that they do not master, you have a color of voice, really difficult, opaque and without much grace, I suppose that an Sm7b wouldn't do you much favor either, despite costing 400 dollars, if you were not born to speak and have a voice that is pleasant to listen to, it will be difficult for you to find a microphone that you really like, the more faithful the microphone is to your voice, the more you will hate it, never forget that.
Here for it
Nice!
Nice🎉
Could a human be any more obnoxious than this? OMFG, just do the damned test already !!!
It was nice to listen, please continue
Ayyyyyyyyoooo thanks for the shout!
We don’t support china or their Allies and if you do! Guess what you’re the problem!!! Literally. Tell Ali baba and Xi to go fuck themselves. You’re the reason why their gonna fund their next wAr fuck a condenser. I’d rather sound like I’m biting into an apple or talk into a water damaged American made microphone. Rather than to support these communist counties.
Eyyyyyy
"whatever this usb microphones f***ing called" Instantly wanted to listen to your podcast....then I see it ended. G*dd**mit
It's surreal that you commented on this video because I watched your stuff on my other channel. If it makes you feel any better if you go back and listen to some celestial mystery hour season 2 and 3. And just don't watch the last few episodes of season 3 that's some of our best content we've had the most fun creating LOL. I love your channel Bart keep it up.
Mv7 is way better , u should check out the t.bone dynamic mic. I use an mv7 and I love it, but the t.bone bc 500 it’s a clone of sm7b and it’s 75 bucks great for throw around. Mv7 sound Away better period though, also the electro voice re20 is the best sounding!!
MV7 is a substantial difference in price an honestly should handle plosives better for the price. Nonetheless, the MV7 is a solid mic. I feel the SE Dynacaster for $30 more is a worthier option.
Which one would you recommend?
For the price the FiFine is good, at this point there are many cheaper shure mv7 clones. Id watch obscure mics because he has covered a lof of the shure clones.
It dosent sound that good in other people videos it sound good
Lots of contributing factors such as voice, proximity, mic placement, etc.
How does the revelator suck?
I didnt like the way it picked up and the headphone output was not great. I have a video on my complaints.
Great information
nice video man, thx
Nice video
Sounds okay
Sounds awesome!!!
Lots of fucks.
Gamers rise.
"We all know it isn't worth it." I don't think I've seen anyone else say that about this mic. And the revelator lets in so much room noise, it's really not a competitor with the MV7.
Yeah I was under the impression is was going to be this great mic. Which is why I wanted to make sure my review showed off a real working condition. My studio is not perfect but the Revelator requires great sound proofing to be good.
Cool channel i got that mic too it does good for streaming games on fb and doesn't catch as much background noise like the yeti i had before i agree overpriced but its the last mic i am gonna buy for many years so i will make it worth it
Yes I still like it more than my friends Yeti and it works well. If i had better sound treated room it would be less of an issue as well!
Presonus Revelator is terrible for the money. Maybe worth $50, even Blue - Snowball is better. Blue Yeti is alright but the Yeti Blackout is terrific in ways. Shure MV7 is a favorite as the SM7b is better yet if you use XLR. The RODE mics are decent if they don't fall apart, they just need to make a solid constructed body for their mics. I suppose it depends on what you want to use the mic for? Generally the best way is to own 2 mics, one as Condenser and other as Dynamic to meet your needs. The Audio-Technica 2020Plus USB is well above average like in the Top 5 of all USB mics. I also like the AT2035 a XLR. Yes! sticking with stuff that is under $500. Just like Headphones can be very expensive $1,200 to $2,500. Thank you for the Review! Noticed that video and audio were not quite in sync. uhmm. Presonus PD-70, IDK probably time to run away from that one too.
Yeah I think my OBS had some weird settings left over from my stream sorry the sync issues! For the Revelator I agree not too impressed after all the hype from their videos. maybe Presonus just needs to be avoided as I saw the PD70 being good but not worth 130$. USB mics can be good and I am sad the Revelator ( As of now for me) is not good and I have yet to get it to a sound I like. I do like the Audio-Techincas maybe I will try the Samson G-track one day and see if it is worth replacing the Revelator for.
I bought the Revelator and only spotted your review a bit later. It is spot on; the software is great, sound quality is fine and you will pick up everything which can be positive and negative. And I realy like that it has a USB-c connection instead of micro or mini USB (ugh...) And regarding the negative: you observation on the headphone output for monitoring sound on the mic putting out a sub-par quality audio signal is also right. There's a constant noise to be hear which you won't have when using a better sound source and i.e. the VB-Audio Voicemeeter sound mixer software to play the mic signal ('Listen to' functionality in Windows 10 is unusable due to delay). I replaced the stand btw. with a realy heavy Konig & Meyer desk stand and a Aston Swift shock mount which noticably decreases 'desk noise' registered on the mic. And I also think the Gear Cage review is just a bit too positive on this product as well... had the same really high expectations ;-)
I am glad you had similar experience because based of the Gear Cage review I assumed I must have not done something right! I also replaced the stand as my wife knocked it off one of my desks and it snapped. The heavy base made the plastic arm extremely fragile to falling lol. I have not played around with it in voicemeter but with that new information I should mess around with it again! Overall I am glad this review was similar to your experience only to help others figure out if this mic is worth it for them in the end.
Glad to be of help. And good to hear that you now know that you don't have an example which has a faulty headphone output. The stand breaking at that point doesn't suprise me by the way it's definitely the weakest point in the construction. If you're trying the Voicemeeter app in the accompanying Virtual Audio Cable Setting app set the buffer size to the lowest amount of samples as possible (on a modern computer at 48kHz this shouldn't be problematic... 96kHz gave sound artifacts for me at the lower settings). And set the block size in Universal Control (Win 10 version) also as low as possible as well. That should minimize any delay.
So the included noise gate function doesn't do a satisfactory job with the ambient noise? That seemed like one of the main advantages (more like a necessity, with a condenser mic) of the Revelator. I know it's fun to play with these things, but it's kind of a bummer that, for the costs of these 2 mics together, someone could just get an SM7B. Since in my case it's admittedly for fun and curiosity (and since I expect to keep using the SM7B anyway), I just bought the Revelator and will hope for the best.
Yeah for me at least that is the case, I have found turning the gain way down for my recordings have helped and I boost in post. That being said my room isn't treated so it could all be operator error but for something that was advertised as plug in play. I had higher expectations out of the box. If you get some better results I would love yo know what your settings are to mess around with mine.
@@themrreconelite Thanks for the reply, and for sharing the details of your experience with it. I'll have mine in hand later this week and will gt to messing with it. Currently I use a noise gate plugin with Equalizer APO, and it works well but I like the idea of something integrated with the hardware.
@@danmagoo Awesome I hope it is just user error on my part!
Thanks for the good video, and for being the voice of doubt about this somewhat overrated microphone. The RK345 windscreen is better (if only because it's longer, and forces you farther away from the diaphragm), and I don't disagree with your comments about plosives with this mic. What I would add, though, is that the $400 SM7B also has issues with plosives, even though you don't hear a lot of people acknowledging it. It's fine if you angle the mic properly to avoid puffing that air directly into it -- but if you face right into theSM7B, the issue is the same as you demonstrated. The Revelator does look interesting!
I find it very strange for a 250$ microphone we got a terrible windscreen. I agree with the SM7B as well, I think since it's become a podcast "standard" no one questions why it is used. I mean heck the reason I bought the MV7 alone is because of SHURE's brand. I am glad I bought it and to experience it. I know there are mics out there for cheaper $$ and one of these days I will explore getting some for myself to play around with!
Hi everyone just wanted to update, during this recording I had my gain to about 50% with the revelator I have since started using it at about 10% and it has made the room noise issue drop. While it is still noticeable; the noise is not nearly as bad in an untreated room. With that information I still think it is a 6-7 but I apologize for not trying it out on the video!
GREAT points! And glad that someone doesn’t like the Yeti too (first of all, I don’t like the extra-NON-necessary form factor, let alone sound and features).
Yeah I know lots of my friends like it but I watched this video ua-cam.com/video/_sjZJ9i_mH0/v-deo.html and it made me want to look into normal mics. Again if you want a mic for discord by all means its fine but there are better alternatives and cheaper. (same with the revelator).
@@themrreconelite Great! What "normal" (dynamic) mics do you use or had good experience with?
@@SocietateaAscendenta Currently for our podcast we use two Sennheiser E835 dynamic microphones hooked up to the BEHRINGER Audio Interface, UMC404HD. My cohost does have the shure SM58 and we have used that as well. We recently switched to both e835's to make it sound better to us but overall those are two 100$ dynamic mics I love.
@@themrreconelite Wow, thanks a lot for the in depth description! :)
@@SocietateaAscendenta No problem and I know the UMC404 is like 150$ but if you know you are only ever going to record with two people they have a cheaper one with two slots!
nice video!
Thank you!
How well does the RK345 fit? Is it loose or does it fall off?
It is a snug fit and will not fall off. Once it is on it is on. So far I really enjoy using it it is leagues better than the included screen.
I read somewhere that this mic has several "mics". Can't you change it from omnidirectional to single or something?
Yes you can it will be in the settings (cog wheel) in the revelator application. I recorded my sessions on the cardioid setting.
@@themrreconelite are you sure ? You hear you like a omni mode. Check it.
@@dimitrissmixiotis7408 Yeah thats what the cardiod sounds like on this for me. I played with all of them unless I missed something else.
@@dimitrissmixiotis7408 Which is why it will never over take the MV7 for me.
