Why Nobody Lives On These Hawaiian Islands
In this video, we explore why most of Hawaii’s residents live on O'ahu, while other islands remain sparsely populated. O'ahu’s flat terrain and economic advantages made it ideal for development, while factors like volcanic hazards, limited infrastructure, zoning laws, and costly inter-island travel have slowed growth on other islands. Hawaii’s history, geography, and economic realities reinforce this population distribution, keeping O'ahu the primary hub despite overcrowding and other challenges faced by its residents.

Click bait. You OBVIOUSLY haven't been to Indiana. Indianapolis population is EXPLODING. Everywhere you you look in southern/SE Indiana, there is a brand new house hiding back in the woods. I live there. I wouldn’t live anywhere else. True, around Lafayette it’s one big cornfield, but southern Indiana is beautiful.
Stay away. We like WA the way it is. Low population
Jacksonville doesn’t count. Everyone knows it is S. Georgia, not Florida.
A lot of this is simply zoning and state lines. While Indiana has Indianapolis, cities like Chicago, Louisville, and Cincinnati are nearby.
I lived in Indiana for years and liked it.
I live freely and happily in Horseshoe bch FL. Where they say no one wants to live. Go figure
