Just something I caught but I could be wrong: If you listen closely, when Halbrand takes Galadriel's arm, the music changes in mood. It sounds powerful, but the choir in the background deepens into a more villainous tone, as if there's something wrong with the seemingly good moment. Halbrand's theme is played, but it's different than how it usually sounds because he's much closer to power. Love seeing the little clues across the show.

Two things can be true about this scene, although you can dislike Alicent (as I do) she’s entirely justified in her seeking of redemption, and Aegon got what he deserved, but handled it like a badass.

What a shame poor lucerys. He didn't deserve to die but it's kind of his fault in the first place he bullied aemond for years then attacked first him then cut out his eye even though at that time aemond was lowering the stone. He planned on killing or damaging aemond when he was young. If he didn't then why did he bring a knife in the first place. Then he was mocking aemond at the dinner the worst part is veseris literally didn't even care that HIS SON has lost an eye .He rather support his selfish daughter . If he had punished lucerys in the first place this wouldn't have happened

It's very annoying how even in this case that clearly shows that rhaenyra and her sons were evil people still ignore it Aemond was bullied for years about not having a dragon by those bastards. Then when he gets a chance to get a dragon he took it and claimed Vagah .Dragons aren't objects to be inherited. You can claim them .Which he did They came met him and attacked him first 4v1 when he was defending himself his eye is cut out. Also was the one who was planning to kill aemond . If he didn't plan on that then why bring a knife Her son literally lost his eye for telling the truth and his FATHER doesn't even care about him. this is the scene that made the series. it's funny reviewing it a year later it's not as powerful. when i was fully immersed in the story, this was the most grotesque and beautiful moment.
