The two photos at 0:21 and the one at 2:14 are all the same guy. Two other known photos of him exist (likely taken during the same event). So that one guy is really the only black man in German uniform to be photographed. So I would say the number of black soldiers in foreign volunteer units like the Free Arabian Legion was likely VERY low. I have seen one photo of a black teenager in a Luftwaffenhelfer uniform. Other than those, I haven't seen any others in photos.

Italian special/specialized troops were among the best in WWII (Guastatori, X Mas, Monte Cervino, Arditi and ADRA, Folgore etc), too bad the ordinary/regular soldiers had to go through massive sacrifices because of their WWI equipment and artillery.

A massive detail people in the west don’t realise (or choose not to)… Chechnya was independent for a few years & during that time the mujahideen backed Chechen govt did the bare minimum to improve the lives of the people… Russia at least invested in the area.
