When I graduated from from college, I decided to start exercising and clean up my diet.
Through these changes, I was introduced to the world of high-powered blenders. I knew I’d like to purchase one to help me with my diet but had nowhere to learn about them or which one would work best for me, so I started doing research.
Looking through multiple sources and asking owners their opinions, I finally made a purchase and it's never left my counter.
Afterward, I decided to make a website in my free time to try out some techniques I’ve learned at work- coupled with my new knowledge and passion for blending everything in sight, Blend Guide was born!

All of the Vitamix blenders with smart technology require special smart containers, which are more expensive. You can't use just any Vitamix container on a smart motor base. Keep this in mind when shopping. I chose the 750 because it has the most features and is the quietest non-smart blender they make.
For those prices, Blendtec or Vitamix. Vitamix was sued for copying the Blendtec design and lost. So it makes me wanna support Blendtec
good video, 1 thing you forgot to mention is with the new smart series u cant use the older containers from previous models cuz they need a chip to work
The extras are cosmetics and toys. Like you said both do the same
Oh I m happy that by law we have 2 years gaurentee on all products.😮
I got a2300 with the food processor attachment on eBay for 439. Still learning all the ways to use it. Also got the spatula on Amazon. Great when making nut butter
Very helpful. Thank you!
Very helpful, thank you. For the 3500, can you really walk away though while a program is running? It looks to me that that blender jar is not actually fixed in place (4:27), is it safe to leave it unattended?
If you get the smaller stainless steel 48oz. Container what's the point of the bundle of smaller 8oz. And personal cup set with the blade attachment?
they should have locking jars to the base
I have the legacy 5200 and it looks just like your cheap one only has the tall 64oz jar, which is what I selected. I wanted simplicity and it’s perfect. You go on about the noise, well it’s basically noise free compared to a Blendtec. Horrible blender. I love my Vitamix. You get what you pay for. Quality..
how powerful is the motor?
Only pre sets and timers they all work great
Any vitamix is great just not as many presets
Please stop saying "in this video" If it's not in this video then why would anyone be here?
I purchased my first vitamix in 2021 the a3500 in black stainless steel. I use it just about everyday and I luv it.
Do you still recommend the A3500?
I got lucky I picked up a renewed E520 for 229 and 5 year warranty
Vitamix is owned and run by racist fascist scumbag Republican traitors. BOYCOTT VITAMIX!!!
Because of the horrible Vita-Mix marketing, this video is just wrong: The best Vita-Mix blender is actually the Vita-Prep 3. It only shows up on the "Commercial Products" section. It's buried. It costs $683 as of 11/23. Peak 3 HP motor and tons of cooling. It's a beast that makes the other "consumer" Vita-Mix blenders look like expensive but cheap toys.
Vitamix SUCKS!
Ok! 😂
The motor underneath lets off a slight smell and it's a little loud ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxCKuMxLnvr6fJd_M4SE-n7trcGj3zEUHq but considering it's size and how hard it works to do the job, it's sort of expected. I assume the smell will go away over time. Overall, I love this cute little blender. The extra cups and lids are great too!
PS?.. it is very good making paper mache. Glue in it and all. BUT I AM NOT ADVISING THAT YOU SHOULD. 😊
We can live in hope. BUT saying that Vitamix is a bonza blender. I have had two. Cheaper one and the super model. All I can say is it is still noisey. But we are talking industrial. It is less noisy in a shopping centre because of vastness of space, but domestic it is like a moon launch. My final comment, the big baby could possible grind cement...but I am not going to try that. It is noisy it will always be noisy but to get a quick smooth blend I am stuck on Vitamix. I don't need a copper one or a colour coordinated one, just one that works, works fast and makes me happy at the end. PS. My dog hates it, but who the hell asks their dog if they like blenders. 🎉❤😊
Don’t buy the ones made in china!
E310 is great for most people, but i prefer the narrower base on the 5200 container.
K.I.S.S. Vitamix 5000 (E310 w. the original, and best 64 oz. tall container)
Blend It Up 😊
I purchased the 5300 on sale for $300. Stores like Cosco and Sam’s’s will always have a $300 full sized vitamix hiding somewhere.
That's a great price on the 5300. I really like mine.
I just ordered the 5300 from the Vitamix website. It was on sale so the total cost including shipping was $375.
Great review
Does the e320 grind grain into flour or sugar into powder sugar?
It can but the dry container will do a better job of it than the wet one will due to differences in the blades, and the internal shape of the jar.
It’s just so bulky I don’t have space and the noise will bother me, they are so loud
99 cent ear plugs
I have an explorian. I'm kind of a minimalist with cooking achiness. It is fine for me. I process veggies for salads. I made pancakes, smoothies, salad dressings. I am very happy with the explorian. Advanced Vitamix models are like self driving cars. I'd rather be in charge.
Great video, Could you do some blending videos? I got the A3500 for Christmas, and would love to see your channel grow with blending videos.
Hey there Annette, thanks for the suggestion! What type of videos would you like to see? I'm going to start making more videos for this channel, so open to suggestions. Thanks, Keith.
@@BlendGuide Thanks so much. Your channel is exactly what I wanted. Love your attitude.
I have the Explorian E320. I love it. I have the 64 oz lower profile pitcher. I have bought the 48 oz pitcher too. I even bought one that muddles. Love that for lemonade. 😊😊😊 I also bought the scale. I don't mind the noise. I also have a Ninja.
Great review What is the decibels of the ascent?
Thank you.
I have the least expensive E310 it works perfectly for everything that I need
It's got the same size motor as the 5200. It's plenty big for normal household blending.
Does The A3500 has smaller glasses also? Thank you!
Good review but I can’t shake the feeling that Vitamix reviews are a little like the Emperor Has No Clothes. No one ever questions the downsides. You pay $700 or more for a machine and yet: 1) you still have to guard again overheating - this should be automatic 2) The motor noise is insane, 3) you need to use a tamper (to help the blender) despite all the technology and blade sharpness and 4) you pay for your warranty… basically the less expensive machines aren’t built to the same standards so they’re sold with half the warranty. I know they’re great products but honestly, why do people only hear Vitamix evangelists and never the critics.
I have had my Vitamix E320 for over 6 years. My son makes smoothies almost every day & sometimes twice. It's an amazing machine & definitely worth the investment. I have a Ninja & while I do love the bowl for mixing batters, I was never satisfied with the smoothies. I wanted the consistency that I get from the store. The Vitamix gives me that. I can get a great smoothie whenever I want at home. This was definitely a game changer!!
Is the a2500 the same noise as the more expensive version?
I like vitamix and I watch and looking for a year and think to much for my cost, I aware for size for puton the counter top, under cabinet what size for A3500 if I put complete set on the top, another things are can I change the container to small size like 48 oz.
What's your view on the Venturist V1200? I'm undecided between that one and the Pro 750.
I managed to get a Vitamix One on Amazon for $227 used very good $50 less than the new price. For me the biggest issue with a lot of other blenders and I've had a lot of different ones is that there's always little bits of whatever in the smoothie so when I would go to drink I'd be feeling all the little bits and that's what I so disliked. I had a really good Oster blender that couldn't even take dates down properly for me I like to have a smoothie made with apples and dates but I want something that's very drinkable very smooth and that's what really made me want to purchase a Vitamix to make very smooth smoothies.
Just to add my five cents. The explorian E310 is a classic timeless design, not an old one
Simple is best imo. Less to break.
E310 and Experian are TOO LOAD. I bought one felt like my brain was RATTLING . It needs to be DISCOUNTED.
One thing you didn’t mention is that the e310 not only has a smaller container but that is narrower, which is why I got it. You can do smaller batches with the e310. As a single person I don’t want to make smoothies for 2. I was looking for something that would do smaller batches without the need for an additional container. Also, while you do need to pay more, you can upgrade the 5 year warranty to 8 years when you purchase the blender, which I did.
Can a Vitamix be repaired? I have the 5200 from 2005 knob missing and motor sounds like its struggling I still use it though.
Contact their customer service, I've heard great things about it. Obviously it's out of warranty, but they can probably still help you with any questions regarding repairs or may even do repairs for you for a bit of extra money. Definitely cheaper than getting a new one. I've been researching these a lot since I just bought one, and great customer service has been a point that kept coming up, so I'm sure it's worth a shot :)
I bought the 5200 about the same time, and my center knob is loose, falling off, and my motor has a screeching sound when doing something thick. It can't do peanut butter anymore without over-heating. Now it has started throwing my breaker from time to time. So I'm thinking the Explorian 320.
How wud u rate Costco’s A2300?
