We were always watching her villain origin story. It’s not wrong to like her as a character. I also liked Tywin, and Cersei was fun too. Joffrey was also charismatic in the glee he took in malice. There was a problem with her not always being framed as the bad guy, but the moment she landed at dragon stone she was the obvious bad guy for two seasons. Everyone feared her and knew she would win. The north sided with her for their own safety. Most of Westeros was forced to bend the knee to her or die lol. She was always bad and I love her anyways lol she’s fun.

No. It may be the second best but Boris Karloff (1932) was the best. And I have a soft spot for "Blood from the Mummy's Tomb" (1971) which was the version closest to the original Bram Stoker book.

The mummy is one of the best movies ever made. Honestly very few movies had as much story and good cinematography at the time; as a kid I was always into movies that felt longer than they really were but still somehow time flew by watching it.

If you’re comparing it to the sequels and reboot, yes, no contest for the trainwrecks that followed.

RtSH looks like a really terrible fan made film. It’s made by Gans who screwed up the first movie and has screwed up this one. A ton of unnecessary characters that aren’t from the game. Check IMDb there should only be 5 main characters listed but there isn’t there’s way more than that’s needed. This movie will suck mark my words.

I wish it wasn't Gans who directed this. I don't understand why Konami keeps giving him more chances. The guy's a creep and doesn't understand or respect SH. He substituted Harry as the protagonist in the first movie because according to him, Harry was a "f£minin€ character", because he "talks to himself" and "keeps fainting". And of course, Gans is a very "hands-on" kind of guy, if you catch my drift. The type of men who say thinks like that often are. Like Joss Whedon. Harry is a man who literally went to HeII and back to save his child.

Such a shame that the SH3 adaptation was so cheaply made and ended up being a complete POS. I would have LOVED for Christophe Gans to have directed a proper film adaptation of SH3. Here's hoping the SH2 movie is at least as good as the first film, if not better!

Hellraiser, Lord of Illusions, Nightbreed, Candyman….take your pick for the 5th spot. Apart from that few seem to be able to bring Barkers vision to screen with any justice. When Spoilers Bleed fascinated me but not sure how you could make that into a movie.

Targs arent fireproof in the books the funeral pyre was a one time miracle martin has confirmed but show made her fire proof for reasons. But yeah both show and book fans allowed themselves to be tricked into thinking she was a hero. People fell into that trap cause her foes in essos are mustache twirling levels of evil. I think georges point of her time in essos is to make it clear she is not a good ruler. Everywhere she went there ended up she leaves in ruin. George is a pessimistic person and the point of this series is to show how most people cannot handle power and that are petty squabbles distract us from real problems ( in his eye climate change with the whole white walkers)

What about Linnea Quigley? How is she not a scream Queen? Also Sleepaway Camp might be more memorable, but it’s also a mid movie. Friday the 13th The Final Chapter has way better writing and directing than Sleepaway Camp. I remember Jimmy’s and Teddy’s dead fuck conversation over anything in Sleepaway Camp. Or how about “mother is talking to you”? Or does “he think I’m a fart head”? Sure Sleepaway Camp has “eat shit and live,” but that’s it. Sleepaway Camp is a guilty pleasure and Jason is an icon. I’m not even a Friday the 13th fan as I only like part 4 and 6, but c’mon dude. Also no mention of The Burning?

The fact this episode didn’t mention the Dark Shadows TV show from 1966 that Bram Stoker’s Dracula borrowed heavily from and that became a cultural phenomenon in the romantic vampire sub-genre 10 years before Interview with a Vampire and 39 years before Twilight, defies anything remotely approaching logic. Not to mention the story of the vampire Barnabas Collins, specifically his backstory, is one of, if not the most, original vampire stories to come our way since Dracula the novel came out in 1897. And then there’s The Hunger. How in god’s name can you do a history of vampires, in particular gay vampires, and not mention The Hunger? To say this episode was a disappointment would be a gross understatement.

The thing about Barker is that there is a reason why he has detractors. The man has a brilliant imagination. He has some very outre ideas and is unafraid to push the envelope. Guys like him form items in media that can only be described as missing links or developmental leaps. The problem is that neither of these hold mass appeal in the videogame fandom. Before anyone pipes up, I know people think they like diamonds in the rough. What they tend to like are things called diamonds in the rough or missing links. Really, they are what comes after those actual items.

Sorry but I'm not interested in the 5th uninspired remake of ALIEN 1979 after Alien 3, Resurrection, Prometheus and Covenant. Single ALIEN on a confined spaceship with a submarine like interior. And that's before we address all the unofficial rip offs and spiritual remakes, i.e. Event Horizon 1997, throughout the years too.

Right on with your consensus here. Unfortunately for me the franchise died 5 minutes into Alien 3.

a Jericho video in 2024? gosh i love you bro,aside from re4 and halo 3 this is easily my favorite game. so much potential to this series and lore if only we could have gotten a sequel. my biggest gripe though is i cant get this game on pc which is the biggest let down. happy to see there are a few of us that still love this game.
