Have a merry Christmas train man

Nathan I have both engines but my Wabash F-3 is a Postwar Celebration Series engine built by Lionel Trains Incorporated (LTI). If you put Lionel MPC cars with fast angle metal wheel sets and needlepoint bearings behind the BN GP-20 it will pull more of those types of cars same goes for the Wabash F-3. It could be fun if the public of Sacramento got to see the Big Boy train on display like they did with the 844 train,and people travel to come see it on display but i don't know when they would do that again really.

I don't know if I'm right, but I consider that this locomotive has 7000 HP on the drawbar, because it has two powers: output power and original, the original is 8550 HP, because when it was delivered in 1941, its power output, which is what fuels the traction effort, was 6290 HP, and the original power was 7450 HP, an enormous difference compared to now, How the Allegheny is an Original mallet, that is why it is slower, that is how they put it to transport coal, this locomotive is to transport merchandise and income, they are two tasks the Yellowstone for minerals and the norfolk AND western for express coal.

Why have they had to add the diesel loco back to the train? I thought they had found a solution to having a diesel as part of thet train.

Cool Nathan. How much were they?

It looks like on the left side, the crank on the middle wheel is incorrectly installed (flipped 180 degrees), which would explain why the locomotive "hesitated" at the start of the video (around 0:04). The right side seems OK (0:15). I'd fix that since, when flipped, the crank places additional stress on the motor, and can even break its locking teeth or even damage the teeth socket on the wheel.
