The Attire looks so similar to that of Polynesians. It was said that Polynesians are a mix of Austronesian/Malays and Melanesians/Papuans.
Inspirational, no other words to describe it. Well done.
Thanks for preparing this demonstration. I found this very helpful. 😅
Glad it was helpful!
Wonderful. Thank you very much.

Excelente. Gracias.❤
Glad it was helpful!
You are right, however I changed the order because I believe the form works better in this sequence.
wrong sequence, mixed up 16 and 17
He also broke the rules by using four repetitions.
Such a beautiful flow and imagery. Thank you 🙏🏻
Thanks. You can visit my TAICHIOZ channel for more videos. www.youtube.com/@taichioz2022/playlists
Thank you for this. Really helpful
You're welcome. There is more information and links to other videos on my website at: "taichioz.com/taichi-42form.html" and "taichioz.com/taichi-42form-tutorial.html"
I love my culture and my place.
Thank you for your generosity in teaching, and in teaching so very well.
You are very welcome - have you tried Set 2 (ua-cam.com/video/gFeIyJN9QRQ/v-deo.html). This set extends some of the principles used in Set 1, Ric

Well done. Do you have any history behind this form? I find none but it feels very old.
Unfortunately I have found surprisingly little information about this form in Chinese. There are some slightly different versions on UA-cam, but I find this version has the better "flow".
awesome!
This has been great, still learning the nuance of the movements. I live in a small town in Qld and have inherited a Tai Chi group. We do and have been doing Seniors Tai Chi and Qigong and have just began Shibashi 2, The enjoyment on our members faces when doing Shibashi 2 is amazing. I have a question? Will you do an instructional video on Shibashi 3. I would like to introduce it to our group sometime this year. We are an Incorporated Group run by volunteers
Hi Gary, glad you are finding the video useful. I suggest that you use the newer version which re-arranges the movements in a more flowing sequence - this is the link <ua-cam.com/video/gFeIyJN9QRQ/v-deo.html>. I am working on Set 3, but in the interim, you could use some of the other qigong sequences - go to the video page of my website for a full list: <taichioz.com/video.html>
très bonne séance merci à vous

Great exercise. Some of the fatties in the audience would do well to join in.
Outstanding video!
Excellent form done effortlessly with stiff wind holding no sway! Amazing!!!

Hi again, still loving this form and learning it in my practice group. Can someone please tell me what the music is? Have written twice to Ric's web address and awaiting a response.
I don't know the origin of the music, it is also used by Rod Ferguson at: ua-cam.com/video/ssm-DfqReqQ/v-deo.html
Thankyou for the clear instructions for these exercises. I found them very helpful.
Ric, thank you for demonstrating this lovely Qigong...where did you learn it? And also what is that lovely music? Many thanks,

Thank you, this is very clear and easy to follow. I've done set one for a year and wanted to explore set 2 and this has been an excellent introduction. Though I have to say I'm still discovering the energy flows and meditational aspects of set one and maybe I shouldn't complicate my life :)
Thanks for your feedback. I am now practicing the movements in a different order to improve to effectiveness of the qigong, and hope to post a revised video within the next month, Ric.

Excellent and easy to follow.
Best video I've found! Movements are very clearly delineated, especially the quarter turns. The only postures that appear to be missing from '108' form are shoulder bump, a couple of left ward off, and parry/punch. This is my training video from now on!
This is part of a longer instructional video by the esteemed Li Deyin. When he does the sequences, you can see the implied shoulder bumps. The vids are on UA-cam. I recommend looking them up.

Welcome back!
Thank you Ric, for your effort. Very well done flip page animation of historical significance.
Thanks, the publication is an important part of tai chi history.
Excelente.
de nada, Ric
Who is the performer? She is great.
Fantastic Ric. I was inspired by the smooth movements you performed. The background music was perfect and the setting wirh gold, white and black very tasteful. Well done!
Thanks, these exercises are designed to gently increase strength and flexibility of the lower back while increasing mobility and confidence for people suffering from lower back pain.
Very nice
I see this and expect a game of rugby to follow.
Ric, I just discovered your Yang style 8 form mirror tutorial about 3 weeks ago and have followed many times already. Really appreciate your clear, simple explanation and style. Am sure I will enjoy this one as well. Many thanks!! ☯️
Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you found the video useful.
Beautiful routine. Thank you so much, Ric
