i was rewatching so i could download the ending song Anna and slow it down to the pitch in the video, and when i opened audacity my volume shot up to 100% just in time for them to yell "FOREST FRIENDS!!" at 11:59. scared the crap out of me.

Highly doubt this was missed by anyone, but since no one seems to have mentioned it, at 9:17ish I did notice that with the Adversary lamenting there is a match to the song the Strangers are whistling. Did the Adversary teach that song to the Strangers, or did the Strangers use it and the Adversary just happens to like it enough to repeat it?

oh man, that ending was really sad.. the whole video of this puppet show was really nice though, that it was made in memory of those kids in order to help others avoid what presumably happened to them.

The campfire tales lol Missing 411 stories of false or cursed trails that lead to otherlands/hell etc of people who survived/made it back somehow always say the place was similar to and resemblant of our world but still definitely somehow"different"... Just like the choir((demonic???) And classical music people say they hear coming closer and getting nearer and nearer like the deafening and oppressive silence like a red flag on steroids .... Just like the whistler's melody of the strangers/others etc APOT of similarities and correlative parallels

I really like the aesthetic of this video, it could be an educational video created in a dark post apocalyptic world, to teach the children of a new era how to protect themselves from an enemy that mimics human beings!

Something interesting is that the song playing during the Grandwood Four Memorial at the end follows the melody of the Strangers' song. Dunno if that's important, just interesting (Note: Not exactly, but very close, compare them) EDIT: And the credits after, I just noticed. Odd.

In 80s and 90s local television channels were very poor that the only children programming that they broadcasted were low budget puppet shows record live in the studio. Today local television channels also have very poor budget and doesn't air children programming
