One of the biggest Icelandic scams! fake pool made up for tourists and expensive for nothing. Go to the public swimming pools you will get the same water, more options and is going to cost you 1/4th at least. You will help the city and not some rich Icelandic family scamming more tourists.

How long round trip did it take you to walk? We are hoping to make it in the 2 1/2 hours from the airport, as we are flying to the island on Tuesday, March 26th, but the return flight leaves 2 1/2 hours after it lands. Your video is by far the most informative and I love how much info you give!

I'll be on Rotterdam for first time next month (first HAL cruise). The pool areas look quite lacking as far as seating goes. I love going straight out to the deck (aft pool preferably) after breakfast and reading/lounging for a few hours. Did you find there was enough space for people or did you need to be up at crack of dawn to get a lounger?

Is this a whole day activity?

My father and stepmom lived there in the 1970s and 80's. I even went to school for a while in the Red Stable (before it became a gift shop)! The Book Loft and Helen Winnemore's were my favorite shops in that area. I spent many, many happy hours in the former!

Your title says thermal spa tour but no mention of it in your chapters.

Great video of hotel. I wish more dollars were spent promoting Puerto Rico, so rich in history, food, music , beauty. I will say besides Starbucks. Yikes . There are some great places to get coffee and a great place to get a great sweet bread a Mallorca is Cafe Mallorca. Great historical location in Old San Juan. Really great video. Thanks.

I really hope you send this brief video to the owners of the beautiful Casablanca Hotel, I’m sure they’d really appreciate it since there’s nothing current about the hotel on UA-cam! Next time you go to San Juan though, don’t be going to Starbucks - you’re in a coffee vortex in Old San Juan! We have the best of the best! Ha ha ha. The place to have coffee is café Mallorca which is also close to your hotel. If anyone on a cruise needs to get to a pharmacy, The place known as “Puerto Rico Drug Store” in Plaza de Armas is wonderful, they have a very welcoming and helpful staff and they sell everything from jewelry to candles to souvenirs plus they have thrir pharmacy in the back. Thanks for highlighting Old San Juan’s very best. If you look up various shops and restaurants on Google you’ll see that I comment frequently on the ones that I really like! I hope your travels will bring you back to Puerto Rico! 🇵🇷🌴💃🏿

We have prepaid cruise staff tips but what did you do about cash for tour operator, bus driver tips and purchases from smaller vendors? Did you buy euros or use U.S. dollars?
