In that case you dont make such a big movement with the right leg, but the right leg goes down at the enemies calves, like a footstomp to the ground. That way, your right foot takes the position of the enemy's foot, making him stand only on the other leg/foot, so you could easily bring him out of balance.

Now just train in an Aikido school, but always trying to do the techniques in Ninjitsu style, it's simply more powerful.
